A domineering CEO who is gentle and courteous in public but controlling in private X an honest, love-struck man who is slow-witted and awkward both in public and in private
(The main story is complete, with bonus chapters dropping at random~)
At eight years old, Ye Qingran received financial support from fourteen-year-old Fu Zheng. For fourteen years, from the time she was eight until she was twenty-two, Fu Zheng supported her, even as she changed her name from Ye Qingran to Ye Jinyu. His name ran through her entire adolescence and adulthood. He knew everything about her.
Ye Jinyu had no friends. She was a goldfish trapped in a fishbowl. When she looked around, the glass reflected a dazzling, bizarre world, while her own world was surrounded by pure water, clean and safe.
In this little world, when she looked up, she saw Fu Zheng's indifferent face gazing down at her, with a hint of amusement hidden in his eyes. The water rippled, and Ye Jinyu trapped herself inside it, too.
Fu Zheng, heir to the Fu family of Jing City, seemed gentle, modest, and courteous to outsiders. Everyone who worked with him praised him. But the people inside the company didn't see it that way. His modest manners were just a way to secure deals, while his gentle exterior might simply mean he couldn't be bothered to argue with someone saying something stupid.
The company's directors wanted nothing more than to go online and set the record straight: "I've never seen him be this easy to talk to in a meeting!"
The employees covered their mouths. "We won't say a word. Not a word."
From the perspective of his doctor friend, Fu Zheng was a total pervert, a controlling man who had everyone dancing in the palm of his hand. His friend tried to talk him out of it. Fu Zheng seemed to heed the advice and restrain those rotten genes of his, but in reality, he simply directed every side of himself at the poor person he'd chosen.
Lin Zhiheng often shook his head and said, "Ye Jinyu must have committed some heaven-shaking crime in her past life to be tormented by you like this in this one."
The psychologist often sighed, too, troubled by his client's behavior. What bothered him even more was that the person Fu Zheng had chosen obeyed him completely and never once resisted.
Poor Ye Jinyu finally broke free of Fu Zheng's control for the first time during her internship year and went far away from home.
Warnings: Both the male and female leads have serious issues. One is willing to dish it out, and the other is willing to take it. If that's not for you, please think carefully before reading.
The illnesses in this story are entirely fictional. Please don't take them as real.
If you encounter someone like this in real life, a doctor can help you more than I can. Run.

Ongoing novel: The Villainess Extra Doesn't Want to Live
Blurb: 1v1, both leads are inexperienced. A sickly heroine who doesn't want to live but is equally willing to take everyone down with her X a hero who fantasizes about ending their arranged engagement but gives himself full marks for winning her over
The original hero and heroine will not be villainized. The heroine transmigrates into a book, and from beginning to end, she is just herself. There is no replacing anyone.
Xu Mian died on an operating table.
After her death, she transmigrated into a book as a vicious cannon-fodder villainess. In the story, she deliberately got in the way of a rich young master, competed with the heroine for the hero, and tried to win everyone's sympathy and concern by using her family's status. When her schemes were exposed, she became the person everyone despised and died in a car accident.
On the first day Xu Mian transmigrated into the book, her nose started bleeding in front of the hero and heroine, frightening them both. She casually wiped it away, but before she'd gone far, she fainted and was taken to the hospital.
Xu Mian had been engaged to someone since childhood: the current heir to the illustrious Shen family of Jing City. On the first day they met, Shen Yuechuan offered to pay her compensation so they could have nothing to do with each other ever again.
Xu Mian had no objections. Before she could even answer, her illness began tormenting her again, and she fainted in front of Shen Yuechuan, ending up in the hospital for a second time. This time, Shen Yuechuan paid not only the compensation but also all her medical bills, recuperation costs, and expenses for food, lodging, and travel. As he thought it over, he felt there was something wrong with the situation.
Endless injections and medicine that never ran out. Xu Mian had never had the chance to enjoy her life, and after enduring years of illness, she'd lost all will to survive. The days outside were sunny and the wind was gentle, and her desire to leave grew stronger by the day.
Shen Yuechuan clasped her hand tightly, calling her name again and again. The man who had always held his head high lowered it to beg, afraid that if he let go, she would leave.
"Xu Mian, Xu Mian, Mianmian."
"Mianmian, listen to my voice and keep walking forward, okay? Don't leave me alone. Please, Mianmian."
His voice grew dry and hoarse as he called, just to light the way ahead for the woman he loved. He thought that each time he called her name, Mianmian would take one more step forward. He brought every beautiful thing before her, hoping she'd feel warmth and hoping he could make her stay.
The ever-burning lamps in the ancient temple were tended year-round. A figure knelt before the Buddha, refusing to rise, his forehead rubbed red as if it were bleeding. In a low voice, he begged the gods to bless his beloved with good health and a smooth life.
Warnings: A sickly heroine, with a touch of doting from everyone around her. The illnesses are made up without any real medical basis, so please don't scrutinize them too closely. Neither lead is perfect; both have flaws.
The original hero and heroine won't be villainized. Some parts may feel like unnecessary angst. Feel free to skip this if it's not to your taste.
Illness will take up a large portion of the story. If that's not for you, feel free not to read. There are some heartbreaking and painful parts.
Theme: Trust the choices you make in your heart, and move forward bravely.
Finished spreading flowers!! I really like this ending! The two people were finally able to get along with each other and manage their relationship on a more equal footing and with a clearer mood. . . . . .
"He Xiu doesn't know that Ye Jinyu is happy..." This is a big bummer for the author~ The surname in front is Su. How did it get here and what is it? It's a typo.
As a friend, Shen went over the line by doing this.
"Every sentence" gives the author a big bug ~ Not a word
I want to laugh when I think of Mr. Fu pretending to be a shady stalker and then hearing Goldfish confess his love.
Come on! Very well written.
The freedom I gave you went too far~
Combined with the copywriting, the heroine will think clearly about leaving voluntarily later, and whether her brother will play a role in promoting it hahaha. Because I feel like I can't describe my brother [glasses] inexplicably
Hahaha [three-flowered cat head], can't control it 🐰 🐰
I really want to see the female protagonist start to refuse the male protagonist's arrangements and then the male protagonist breaks the defense
