Zhaori Xinglang transmigrated.
The good news: it was modern times.
The bad news: he had no memories of the original owner, and the crime rate around him was just a little too high.
To fit into his new life, Zhaori Xinglang had to pretend to have amnesia, until one day he received two emails.

Zhaori Xinglang: ???
Well, no wonder the crime rate was so high. So this was a world of Detective Conan-style logic?
*
To obtain the undercover agent list, undercover agent Zhaori Xinglang was assigned by the organization to go undercover at the police headquarters (?). But as an ordinary person, staying in the First Investigation Division was no easy feat.
Luckily, he was bound to a Skill Extraction System. Every time he caught a criminal, he could acquire one of that criminal's skills.
Zhaori Xinglang: "Gin, I'm hungry. Send me a few criminals so I can get promoted!"
Gin: "...Pick up the goods in the alley on Nibangcho in a little while."
"Ding! Thief apprehended. Skill acquired: [Pickpocketing]."
Takagi: "Watch out! That criminal has a handgun!"
Zhaori Xinglang raised his hand. "Do you mean this one? I happened to swipe it just now."
Everyone: "???"
Thanks to his outstanding performance, Zhaori Xinglang was promoted at lightning speed, much to the organization's delight.
Until one day...
Organization Boss: "Y-You! Don't come any closer! Don't take me in to get promoted too!!!"
Synopsis finalized on April 1, 2025.
P.S.:
1. As a transmigrator, the protagonist is neutral, not purely on the red or black side, and often causes trouble along the way.
2. No CP. However, the author enjoys all sorts of pairings, so the story may include a little shipping between men, cross-dressing, pretending to be a couple, and shameless flirting. Read with caution if these are not your thing.
3. The author isn't a stickler for research. If there are any issues with details like police ranks, feel free to point them out. Some cases in the story are inspired by videos about bizarre real-life cases.
4. A lighthearted, everyday power fantasy with a powerful golden finger. Recommended reading with some of your brain switched off.
Theme: Justice will never be absent.
