The Little Eunuch Is So Frail and Soft, Anyone Could Push Him Over

In the fourth year of the Jinghe era, the young powerful minister Chu Qingyue was sentenced to the cruelest punishment.

That winter, snow fell over the imperial city. The people spread the news everywhere: the wicked minister, guilty of the gravest crimes, had finally met his end.

Chu Qingyue was no more, but a little eunuch had appeared in the imperial palace's laundry quarters, where he swept the floors.

The little eunuch was thin and tall, and said very little.

Then one day, the emperor ordered someone to bring him a beautiful companion. At last, a crack appeared in his usually placid gaze.

Li Tang was born into an ancient world. She and her sister-in-law depended on each other, until the emperor, passing by on a hunt, took a liking to her sister-in-law. After entering the palace, her sister-in-law died there under mysterious circumstances.

Li Tang refused to believe it was an accident and decided to enter the palace to uncover the truth.

After carefully maneuvering her way up to become a senior palace maid, she was assigned to a eunuch as his companion.

A few burly matrons tossed her, clothes in disarray, in front of a man.

Standing against the light, he draped an outer robe over her to cover her shame.

From then on, beneath the eaves of the laundry quarters, the two stood side by side, from the bitter cold of winter to the bright spring days under a full moon, all the way until he once again stood at the peak of power. The people of the world were no more than ants to him. She alone was the moon in the sky.

In the darkness, he lifted his head and gazed up at his moon.
