What happens when someone has a run of bad luck?

They fail at alchemy over and over again.

At first, Ming Man thought Heaven had given her another chance, but after failing for the seventh time, she nearly saw her Dao heart shattered.

Ming Man stared at the exploded pill furnace and suddenly thought that maybe she should just give up on making pills.

Later, she discovered a secret: her junior sister had the ability to turn back time.

And she wasn't the only one who discovered this secret. One of her rivals had, too.

Why did you all have to pick on Junior Sister? Now look what happened: the pills have to be made again, the flowers watered again, and the cranes fed again.

She even has to redo her sect homework!
