[Football] After Swapping Lives, I Became Bayern's Star Player

Lin Yue, 18, former national youth martial arts champion. Reason for retiring: She didn't want to be held hostage by pressure.

Life goal: Be a happy couch potato.

Leslie, 19, 187 cm, backup striker for Bayern Munich.

Dream: Win the Ballon d'Or, complete the Grand Slam, and stand in the Allianz Arena listening to the roar of the crowd.

One perfectly ordinary morning before a friendly match in Shanghai, they switched bodies.

Lin Yue stared at the blond, blue-eyed face in the mirror and fell silent for three seconds.

Good news: The other person is still alive.

Bad news: Leslie's English is about as good as sign language, and her German vocabulary is about zero.

Thanks to Muller and Musiala, who kindly served as walking translators.

Leslie (gesticulating wildly): @#￥%...&*%￥#!

Lin Yue: What did he say?

Muller (smiling): ...It's probably better not to know.

Lin Yue thought she was only filling in temporarily, and at most she'd stick it out until the end of the season before retiring and going home.

Instead, she left the opposing defenders dizzy and scored so often that the goalkeeper questioned his life choices.

One season later...

Bundesliga champions, DFB-Pokal champions, Champions League champions, UEFA Super Cup, DFL-Supercup, and Club World Cup.

Six trophies.

The whole internet went wild: Who said this backup wasn't good enough? This backup is amazing!

Bayern sent her a new contract in the middle of the night.

Lin Yue: ? Wait, I'm supposed to go back and take my university entrance exams.

Leslie: So... you won the Champions League for me?

Lin Yue: Yeah.

Leslie: And the World Cup?

Lin Yue: Yeah.

Leslie: The Ballon d'Or?

Lin Yue: ...Maybe we'll see about that this year?

Leslie: Then what's the point of switching back???

Eventually, they finally switched back.

Leslie returned to his six-trophy-winning body, brimming with confidence and ready to show what he could do.

Then he realized...

The whole team was looking at him like he was the spitting image of their beloved muse, but he wasn't the one they were pining for.
