[Football] Brave Cotton Dolls Fear No Hardships

Cortino, a cotton doll sewn by the Goddess of Weaving herself.

One day, he was watching a match while lying on a cloud. He got so excited that he rolled right off it--

"Aaaah, Cortino!"

The other cotton dolls cried out, but he lay on the pitch, staring blankly up at the blue sky.

Cortino: Well, now that it's come to this... I might as well play football.

He joined AC Milan.

Milan was a wonderful place. The jerseys were beautiful, the fans were passionate, and even the air smelled of espresso.

He scored a hat trick in his debut, then got kicked hard by an opponent and started leaking stuffing.

Cortino, back home with needle, thread, and cotton: Stuff, stuff, stuff.

Coach Ancelotti: Cortino, you're too soft in a challenge. One push and you're down. How about putting on some muscle?

Cortino, still stuffing himself: Stuff, stuff, stuff.

The next day, the whole cotton doll was as hard as a brick.

Maldini gave him a pat and stared in shock. "Huh? Why are you so hard? Are you sick?"

Cortino, after a moment's thought: "...Meow."

Maldini: "Why are you copying the way I talk?"

The national team's dormitory, late at night.

Woken by a faint sound, Inzaghi opened his eyes and saw--

Cortino sitting at the head of his bed, a silver needle passing through his arm as he calmly sewed himself up.

Inzaghi: "Aaaaaah! Cortino! Don't give yourself a makeover with a knife!"
