Dating Soshiro Hoshina

When I started dating Hoshina Soshiro, he wasn't yet the vice-captain of the Defense Force's Third Division.

Back then, he was just an ordinary member of the Defense Force, but even as an ordinary soldier, he saved my life.

In a romance manga, I should have fallen in love at first sight with the man who rescued me and confessed to him. But it seemed to happen the other way around: he fell in love with me at first sight and confessed.

Looking at Hoshina Soshiro, with his narrowed eyes that made him look just like a sly fox, yet with cute little teeth showing when he smiled and an almost catlike quality, I ultimately accepted his confession.

After we started dating, we didn't see each other often, because he always had so much work to deal with. But he messaged me every day, and sometimes we even had video calls.

Whenever we met, he would always hug me and rest his head against my neck, saying he was already looking forward to seeing me next time.

When he joined the Third Division, he slid an engagement ring onto my finger.

He wanted to marry me.

Me: "...This seems to be moving a little fast."

After all, we'd only been dating for two years.
