The great demon king Fu Chongyu stole the history book of creation and foresaw that he and his beloved son would be killed for their many evil deeds by the impartial God of Wuwang.
The God of Wuwang was violent-tempered and ruthless. Fu Chongyu and Fu Ruyun would die without a trace, their souls obliterated.
Demon King: What should I do? Killing me is one thing, but why kill my son too?
Among wise humans, an old saying went, "Even a tiger won't eat its cubs." So the demon king came up with a brilliant plan. He painfully sent Fu Ruyun to be raised by the God of Wuwang.
Demon King: Now you can't kill him, right? Please take good care of my son, sob sob sob. He doesn't eat cilantro, bitter melon, winter melon, kelp, or garlic... (Two thousand more words of anxious rambling omitted here.)
The God of Wuwang, Ling Xichi, had been transformed from a weapon. His magical power was formidable, and he was cruel and merciless. Humans, demons, ghosts, and gods alike feared him.
Overcome by his violent energy, he withdrew to cultivate in seclusion. Deep in an empty mountain, he unexpectedly came across an adorable little one.
The child had a pair of brightly furred animal ears and a fluffy tail. He looked at Ling Xichi while wagging it, seeming to have nowhere to go. Ling Xichi had no choice but to bring him along and raise him, naming him Xiaomianhua.
When Ling Xichi chopped wood, Xiaomianhua hugged his tail with one hand and picked up the fallen sticks with the other.
When Ling Xichi cooked, Xiaomianhua happily ate every last bite.
When Ling Xichi went hunting, Xiaomianhua would start clapping as soon as he picked up his bow.
And at night, Xiaomianhua insisted on hugging his arm to sleep, pressing even his tail against Ling Xichi.
Six years later, the demon king secretly went to visit his son. He found the hot-tempered God of Wuwang carrying him on his back through the market, two heavy bags of food in hand. Ling Xichi turned and gently coaxed the person on his back: "Be good. No more overeating, all right? There are too many people here. I'll kiss you when we get home."
Then, breaking his promise, he kissed Fu Ruyun's earlobe.
Demon King: QAQ!!!
#I asked you to raise my son, not treat him like a child bride! Hey!#
