(Chapters 48-56 are a reverse V. Don't buy the wrong chapters!) Next up: Monster Mom's Handbook for Raising Kids. Please add it to your collection!!!
Blurb:
You get your hands on a full-dive simulation game: Family Simulation Game.
Playthrough One: Mother of Monsters
Three minutes into the game, you give birth to a child.
The midwife is horrified as she holds the baby. You take him from her. It's a boy.
Strangely, the boy has mismatched eyes, white hair, and a third eye on his forehead. His mouth is tightly shut, and he neither cries nor fusses.
Your husband's family believes you've given birth to an ill-omened child and wants to sell him to the "goddess" who lives deep in the mountains.
Branch: (Different choices lead to different endings. Choose carefully; one ending is death.)
A: Let things take their course.
B: Flee with the child.
The little boy doesn't understand why other people look at him that way.
Except for one person: his... mother.
She is so frail, yet she would rather die than let anyone harm a child who is different. Without hesitation, she takes him and runs away.
When he's two, he still can't say much. She gently wraps her arms around him, rubs her cheek against his, and patiently teaches him, word by word:
"Ma...ma..."
She smiles brightly and pinches his cheek. "You're not a monster. You're Mommy's precious gift from heaven..."
Sadly, the world will never accept one of its own as different. Ignorant people surround you, and when you try to save your child...
(Death ending triggered: Birth of the Monster King)
"The day you were born, your beautiful eyes gazed quietly at me, and I decided to love you.", Mom
The story's tone: An ignorant, confused, and wicked evil spirit worships you with the reverence of a believer worshipping a god.
Tips: You get more of the story from your own perspective early on, while the child's perspective becomes more prominent later.
Coming soon: Monster Mom's Handbook for Raising Kids
You are something people fear, until you meet a soft, weepy little human.
World One: Slime Mom
You are a slime. Crawling out of the sewer, you find an abandoned human baby.
You never quite understand what a five-year-old is thinking. When he reaches out with red eyes, asking to be held, you mold your body into the softest curve and wrap the little one up in your cool, springy embrace.
He mutters, "Silly Mom."
You: Glug glug?
World Two: Yeti Mom
You are a creature covered in white fur, living on a snowy mountain peak. You find a hairless little monster on the verge of death. You're told that creatures who whimper, cry, and want to be held are called humans.
World Three: Werewolf Mom
You are a werewolf living in a dense forest. A cry rings out and catches your attention, and you find an abandoned human baby. Wolves are loyal creatures with a strong protective instinct. You make a bed for the child from your soft belly, suppress the urge to transform on full-moon nights, and gently lick the baby's cheek with your rough tongue.
World Four: Banshee Mom
You are a monster who has lived for a thousand years. Your long life seems utterly dull, until you meet that little one.
World Five: Cthulhu Tentacle Monster Mom
You have been asleep for many years when a group of humans trespasses on your territory and leaves a child behind. The child's favorite thing is to use your soft tentacles as a slide.
World Six: Shadow Mom
You are pitch-black all over and appear in the shadows. You find a blind child in a garbage can. As the child grows up, he curiously touches your face and says with a smile, "Mom, I wish so much that I could see what you look like."
To restore his sight, you pay the price of never seeing him again.
World Seven: Robot Mom
You have no emotions, until you have a child. How strange. Have you grown a heart?
World Eight: To be continued.
You can also check out my other upcoming story: The Backdrop Mother of a Young Villain
All the villains have dark, miserable childhoods, and you are reborn as their mother. Your sole goal is to lower their villainy score, raise their happiness, and change their death endings.
World One:
You are an ordinary human. Your villainous son is abused, tortured, and brainwashed by the demon realm, raised to be a killing machine. In the end, he will die by the sword of the friend he had as a child, who is now a righteous hero.
When you appear, your villainous son is about to suffer his first loss of humanity. In the original story, his companions betray him, blind him, break his arms and legs, and throw him into a valley of the dead. He survives only after his body endures forty-nine days of demonic energy. But then you appear...
World Two:
You are a frail only daughter of a sect. Your real son is switched at birth and raised as a servant, never getting enough to eat or warm clothes to wear. The child who takes his place is raised in luxury, spoiled and blissfully ignorant.
In the original story, when your real son enters the sect, he is framed and gets into a dispute with the false son. You slap your real son and disdainfully reduce him to nothing. Later, he learns the truth about his birth. Jealous of all the care you lavish on the false son, he decides to take revenge.
When you appear, your real son is being bullied by his fellow disciples for the first time...
World Three: To be continued.
Theme: Cherish the people you have now.
Leaving it to fate sounds like a terrible option [glasses]
Wait a minute, does this chapter have Braille like this? It's the first time I've encountered a chapter with so few words [covering face and laughing]
Is there any CP here? I feel like this guy has too many roles
Touch your head, touch your face, touch your hands, touch your legs. Is it cold? Is it cool? Are you feeling uncomfortable? Are there any problems with the bones? [Glasses]
Um? Are there so few words in each chapter? It feels like I'm reading a low-cost word game.
