Running a Hotel with Female Ghosts in Liaozhai

Synopsis:

Other people's transmigration takes them to another world after death to live again as humans. After Yan Yao dies, she drifts into the world of Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio as a ghost.

Being a female ghost is wonderful in every way, except that she can't eat or drink, has no fun, and has to listen to Granny complain.

She has time, leisure, and friends...

That is, until the System finds her.

At first, when the System tells her the reward is a chance to come back to life as a human, Yan Yao refuses. She has no interest in another lifetime of drudgery. But when the System produces a phone, online shopping, and a complete package of household appliances, Yan Yao accepts the mission without a second thought.

There's just one catch: the mission is to absorb yang energy?

When Cui Kaiyang hears that ghosts have gathered on North Mountain in Jinhua, luring people in and draining their yang energy, he wastes no time gathering his gear and setting off to exorcise them.

When he arrives at North Mountain, he sees a frail scholar sobbing and a beautiful female ghost in a rage.

Things are just as he expected, yet somehow not at all. The difference is that the female ghost is the one asking him for help, while the scholar is the one afraid of him.

The scholar says, "A Taoist priest? I haven't finished all my Five Years of Exams, Three Years of Practice questions yet! If the female ghost gets caught, what'll happen to my online classes?"

Yan Yao says, "A Taoist priest? Great, come take this scholar away! He's running low on yang energy. If he renews his subscription, he'll die! We're running a legitimate business: we only take yang energy, not lives!"

Cui Kaiyang: ???

What do you mean, online classes and practice questions?

After Cui Kaiyang passes through the ghost temple's barrier to the female ghost's "Welcome!" and enters the five-star hotel she calls a place with everything, he sits on the sofa, listens to someone gaming next door and the other female ghosts laughing at their phones, drinks coconut juice, and reads an unfamiliar manual on a computer...

He says without hesitation, "I'll renew!"

He's got plenty of yang energy!

In one sentence: Yan Yao and her ghost sisters build a utopian Fengdu Hotel.

The female lead will not become human. She'll use her points to redeem other rewards.
