A heroine who doesn't look too innocent on the surface, and is especially dark inside
She never expected the first mission she received to be murder.
The traveler was clearly innocent, but her teacher told her to kill him... She could only obey.
But his soul was scorching hot. Even a little of it accidentally leaking out of its "container" left a red welt on her hand.
She flinched at the burn. Through the narrow gap, her eyes met his pitch-black gaze, and it felt as if an endless darkness had sunk its teeth into her back.
The first time she killed someone, it was hard to bear. When she returned to report to her teacher, he embraced her and gently patted her back.
"No matter what problems arise in the future, I'll take care of them for you."
She wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes in front of her teacher. After being comforted, she opened the door with a sob, then wiped every trace of timidity from her face the instant it closed.
She stood expressionless outside the door. Good thing she'd been burned, or she might not have managed to cry.
An innocent man fell into an unforeseen cycle of reincarnation. When he returned, he was a vengeful demon clawing his way out of hell.
"Miss, don't you recognize me?"
"I'm sorry, sir. May I ask who you are...?"
At the ball, he invited her to dance in front of everyone. In a corner where his form completely shielded her from view, he smiled as he plunged the knife in his hand into her abdomen.
"What about now?"
The woman who had pretended not to know him during the day now held the knife by its handle and chuckled softly. "I've known it was you all along."
After many twists and turns, he, a police officer, finally found the connection between the outside world and the inn. The moment he entered the inn, he noticed her.
He knew she was as prickly as a rose, as dangerous as a viper, yet her pull was so lethal that his legs carried him toward her against his will.
Those who seek the truth lose themselves; those who believe themselves noble tumble from the tower.
And she will stand forever at its summit, waiting for the next fearless fool to arrive.

1. The three main male characters mentioned in the blurb have a lot of page time, and there will also be many male characters among the other supporting cast (come on, this is an inn). If that bothers you, don't start reading.
2. All three male supporting characters have romantic or other twisted feelings for the protagonist. The protagonist loves no one. If that bothers you, you don't have to read it.
