(Unfinished, but the outline is complete.)
Wei, who thought she had already died, transmigrates to a world where jujutsu is a special ability. The first jujutsu user she meets is a high school student named Yuta Okkotsu.
His face, build, posture, and expression all make him look weak from every angle. Wei tries to take advantage of the fact that timid people like him tend not to fight back... and then a being named Rika pierces her chest.
Through her inhuman body, Wei sees that Rika’s soul is no more than a little girl’s. She immediately loses all desire to fight, and instead thinks...
Someone as abnormal as Yuta Okkotsu is the perfect person to help someone as abnormal as she is.
She stays at Yuta Okkotsu’s apartment, helps minimize the incidents where Rika fully manifests, and gets Yuta Okkotsu out of the unreasonable confinement imposed by the rotten jujutsu higher-ups ahead of schedule.
Then, as an afterthought, Wei discovers she has jujutsu abilities, too. Not wanting to affect her combat strength, she enrolls at Tokyo Jujutsu High alongside Yuta Okkotsu.
Missions, studying, having fun.
Good teachers, good classmates, a good cafeteria.
Wei is very happy with life at Jujutsu High.
Until Yuta Okkotsu discovers that she is immortal.
She needs to value her life more, take better care of her Soul Gem, and stop ignoring her pain and injuries for the sake of other people’s feelings... So many tedious lectures, so many tedious demands.
On the surface, Wei follows Yuta Okkotsu’s instructions. She changes her Soul Gem from an earring into a tongue piercing, stops using her healing ability on others without his permission, and no longer ignores her own injuries to save someone else.
In reality, she never understood Yuta Okkotsu’s values.
She can’t understand them, and she doesn’t want to.
She has died so many times to make it this far, and her wish as a magical girl is to protect the people she wants to protect, no matter what.
Cherish herself? Care about herself?
If she’d always thought that way, she would have gone crazy a long time ago.
“I’m sorry, I was wrong. The Wei you are now may actually be the Wei who protects herself best. I shouldn’t be asking you to do anything. What I should do is work hard to become stronger, so that I can protect you in a way you can’t refuse.”
Hey, hey, hey?! What kind of terrifying thing is he saying?!
“Because only you know what you’ve been through best, Wei. You know what makes you uncomfortable and what you can adapt to. The things I assume will make you healthier and happier might be poison to you. So you should just be yourself.”
His utterly sincere words, impossible to find fault with, give Wei a sense of impending doom on an epic scale.
For the first time, she wonders what on earth is up with Yuta Okkotsu... Isn’t he a little too good? Is he some kind of saint from a religious text? Is he really that good at putting himself in someone else’s shoes?
Trying to hide her wavering feelings behind rational analysis, Wei and Yuta Okkotsu return to the way they used to get along before he started making all those demands. Though the demanding phase went on for so long that some habits stuck, and she never changed them back.
Missions, studying, having fun.
Good teachers, good classmates, a good cafeteria.
Wei is very happy with life at Jujutsu High.
Until she confirms that Yuta Okkotsu likes her, and that she... All right, she’s been avoiding it this whole time. She likes Yuta Okkotsu, too.
But Wei doesn’t want to start dating. She simply and sincerely confesses her feelings to Yuta Okkotsu in return.
“Do you not know what to do, Wei?”
Yuta Okkotsu asks after recovering from her confession.
“Yes,” Wei answers honestly.
She doesn’t want to date, but she doesn’t want their relationship to go backward, either.
1. The heroine is the protagonist of my completed long-form Genshin Impact series. This is an alternate route where she leaves the Hunter world and transmigrates into the Jujutsu Kaisen world instead of Genshin Impact, so you can read this on its own. The heroine is a little different between the two stories (I revised her backstory and settings). I’m using the same heroine because she suits the feeling I want to write.
2. The ending will probably only go as far as the two of them agreeing to try dating once they both want to. The extras will cover them getting together around the time they graduate from Jujutsu High, and what happens afterward.
Theme: Support teenagers’ mental health and build a better jujutsu society together
It's so cute, so cute. I'd like to support it. It's a humanistic version of Yigu Youtai, and it's also a protagonist with a normal point of view. I can really see the interaction between Wei and Youtai's viewpoints on both sides. I'm a little bit cute. I strongly support [Spreading Flowers]
"I haven't had enough fun with a lot of things." This is a big bug for the author~ The boss should be "I haven't had enough fun yet", right?
Yui always naturally says words that make people's hearts flutter, like "I've been looking at you"... So good at it
Teacher Gojo! Super reliable adult [Spread flowers]
Such a happy chapter... After reading it, I can completely understand the source of Yuta's pressure, which is the setting of not being able to see the same period. Wei is cute and pretends to be calm and uses magic to control her physiological reactions. Both of them have felt lonely, and accordingly they are looking forward to a constant bond. Although Wei is a bit avoidant out of self-protection after experiencing separation, Yi Gu always speaks naturally with gravity, which is just enough to give Wei a sense of security. The radio wave is a perfect match...
Your sister Maki is still so to the point in her words. It's totally a date. I like Otoko's interpretation of familiars. It suits him very well.
Tied. Why are there so few comments! 😭 😭
Delicious 🐶🐶, I don't think the emotional line is so fast at all, but it's so satisfying to eat 💛💛💛
It's good-looking, [Sanhua Cat Head] likes the heroine's cheerful and straightforward character
I finished reading it in one go!!! Verity is a very cute little girl...!
