Honkai: Star Rail: I'm So Weak, I Want to Max Out My Defense

You had just downloaded some scammy new game, and you definitely clicked "Enter," not "Click to transmigrate"!

In short, you transmigrated to a Xianzhou ship called the Luofu. At first, you thought it was a fantasy world of immortal cultivation. Only later did you realize it was actually cyberpunk cultivation.

Phones, deliveries, and fizzy drinks: they had it all.

But none of that mattered to you, suddenly unregistered and weak as a kitten.

What mattered was that the authorities wouldn't haul you in for questioning, monsters wouldn't come after you, and the cultivation System that automatically bound itself to you after you transmigrated wouldn't cause you trouble.

"What do you mean, cause trouble, Host! I've carefully picked out one excellent backer after another for you!"

"If I can cultivate other people, why can't I cultivate myself? Only your own strength is true strength! Haven't you ever heard that?!"

"I'm very sorry, but this System's functions are limited, so I can't fulfill your request."

The System played dead. You were helpless, furious, and finally gave in.

After all, no matter how much you trained in this world, you could only ever be cannon fodder.

But even if you had to cling to a powerful backer, you couldn't give up on yourself completely!

It was perfectly reasonable to use the stingy rewards from this damn System's missions to stack up your defense and stealth stats, right?

"There's someone in the trash can." One day, a tall girl with gray hair and golden eyes opened the trash can you'd been using as a hiding spot.

You couldn't help it. You'd accidentally wandered into a dangerous area again.

"What! There's actually someone in the trash can?!" A pink-haired girl came over to take a look. When she saw you inside, she clearly froze for a moment. "Oh, there really is someone."

"I've gotten used to Xing always digging all sorts of weird things out of trash cans, but finding an actual person in one? I guess I'm still not used to that."

Why would anyone get used to something like that?!

After that, Tingyun, who was traveling with the Trailblazers, brought you along, and Yanqing, who'd been searching everywhere for you, picked you up along the way.

He's so much younger than you, yet he's far more capable and reliable.

But that's not important. What's important is

A new powerful backer has appeared!

A new mission reward!

1. Second-person narration, no definite pairing, but with romantic elements.

2. The Trailblazer is Stelle (Stelle is so cool, okay! T^T T^T)

Theme: Hard work pays off
