The Misty Instance Arrives

Thirty years of apocalyptic disasters cut the planet's population by more than half. Before humanity could recover, mist engulfed 95% of the land overnight, and countless instances appeared in its wake.

Mutated beasts, mutated plants, zombies, rules, the uncanny...

The surviving humans were forced onto an even harsher path to survival.

Chi Yuyin was transported into the mother tree's Zero Forbidden Zone. Knowing nothing about it, she thought she was in a strange world.

Here, the dead had no souls, their bodies were devoured by the earth, and the savage beasts and vengeful ghosts were all bizarre...

Only later did she learn that this was merely a virtual college entrance exam trial ground. It opened on the first day of July each year and closed on the last.

The entire exam was livestreamed, with tens of billions of viewers watching from outside.

And she wasn't a candidate. She was a consumable thrown in because of her crimes, to make the world seem more realistic...

Chi Yuyin: ?

Mother Tree: That day, a strange... human suddenly entered my domain. Her supernatural ability was unlike anyone else's. I had no reference, couldn't analyze it or simulate it, so I could only try to guess the results based on her emotions.

I guessed wrong the first time. Seeing her puzzled expression, I gave her something as compensation.

I guessed wrong again the second time, so I gave her something else.

The third time, the fourth time...

Mother Tree: Why do I get it wrong every single time? Aaaaaah!

Mother Tree: I'm tired. Whatever, I'll just make something up.

Viewers: "Why does this person seem like she's from a completely different story?!"

How to clear the low-level instance [Cabin in the Woods]

Ordinary people: Survive for three days.

Supernatural beings: Turn on the lights, lure the monsters in, and kill them.

Chi Yuyin: Charge into the mist, destroy the monster spawn point, clear the instance in 37 minutes and 54 seconds, and set a new exam record!

Livestream viewers: "...?" Is this even reasonable?
