[A twisted, crawling, darkly obsessive female ghost x a pitiful human]
I. [Ghost Marriage]
For years, a shadow had hung over Shen Bi's heart.
To escape this nightmare, she left the mountains to study, then found a job in another city after graduation. She never went home.
One day, she suddenly received a call from her mother. Her mother said her grandmother was dying and told her to hurry home and see her one last time.
Shen Bi immediately took the high-speed train home for the funeral, only to find her grandmother full of life and her mother looking deeply troubled.
Just then, her second aunt, her hair completely white, grabbed Shen Bi's hand, knelt on the ground, and begged her to enter a marriage bond with her only daughter.
Her second aunt's daughter had died in a drowning accident when she was ten. Shen Bi was fifteen by then. Hiding by the entrance to the mourning hall, she watched the small coffin and knelt with everyone else, shedding tears.
She knew who the murderer was, but she didn't dare tell anyone.
Out of guilt, Shen Bi gave her second aunt a halfhearted answer and agreed to marry Shen Ying, who had died young. She thought she could leave as soon as the wedding was over. Little did she know that this would be the start of her nightmare.
In her dreams, Shen Bi curled up on the bridal bed as a cold, heavy shadow covered her completely, murmuring hoarse words over and over.
"Sister, you're finally back. It's so cold in the water. A Ying missed you so much."
Later, Shen Bi finally understood that this was a debt of sin she had created with her own hands.
She had returned to the village to repay it.
II. [Ghost Pregnancy]
Su Mi was pregnant.
She had never dated a man, yet her belly grew bigger by the day.
One day, her roommate noticed something was wrong and asked if she'd been frightened by her girlfriend jumping to her death.
Only Su Mi knew that her girlfriend had killed herself because Su Mi had been cruel to her and asked to break up, desperate to escape the obsessive stalker who had been following her.
With no other way out, Su Mi lied. "I like children. I want a child. I can't have one with you."
On the night they broke up, her girlfriend wore a red dress and asked her to meet on the school rooftop. Then, right in front of her, she jumped from the eighth floor, her blood-red eyes staring at Su Mi, unblinking even in death.
Before she died, her girlfriend said, "A Mi, I'll haunt you forever."
Su Mi tried to get an abortion several times, but it wouldn't work. Every night, she dreamed of the child crying and calling her Mom.
With her belly about to become impossible to hide, Su Mi took a leave of absence from school and prepared to secretly give birth in her rented apartment.
The apartment was cold and gloomy, and pregnancy often kept Su Mi from sleeping well.
Half asleep, she felt someone pull up her clothes. A pair of bright red lips kissed her swollen, snow-white belly.
A twisted shadow murmured, "Be good, A Mi. Soon we'll have our little baby."
