What Should I Do If a Delinquent Forces Me to Date Them?

Taoze Xingzhi, sixteen years old, was a well-behaved, polite, model student. From childhood on, her life had always been smooth sailing, calm and uneventful.

That is, until she accidentally stumbled upon a fight between delinquents.

In an alley that looked like a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood (?), the only delinquent still standing was a curly-haired boy with a ferocious expression. He casually wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and shot her a cold glance, the chill still lingering in his eyes.

Xingzhi: "..."

A-a delinquent, ahhh!

Terrified by a scene she'd never witnessed before, her legs went weak. With tears welling up in her eyes, she shakily... pulled the last rice ball from her bag.

Matsuda, suddenly being fed: "...?"

*

Matsuda had been paying attention to the girl in the class next door for a while.

He thought she had a crush on him.

The first time they met, she gave him a rice ball;

The second time, she gave him bread;

The third time, she gave him cookies;

The fourth time...

Her attempts to show affection were a little strange, but still, they were a sincere gesture from a young girl. After waiting and waiting, though, Matsuda never got a confession. After thinking it over, he decided to make the first move.

So one day, after accepting the lunch she'd brought him, he asked, "Want to go out with me?"

The girl opened her eyes wide in surprise, then nodded through her tears.

"She really does like me," Matsuda thought.

She was so happy she was almost crying.
