I Became a Star of the Police Force with a Tabletop RPG Dice [Nineties]

With the character sheet she had just finished making in hand, Lin Jingqiu transmigrated to the 1990s and became an ordinary police officer in Changxing City.

The KP she carried with her informed her that she was the only unscientific thing in the entire world, so everything she said and did had to follow the rules strictly.

Lin Jingqiu stared at her character sheet in silence.

Agility 15, Constitution 25, Luck 25... If this character sheet was unscientific, couldn’t it just make her an ordinary person?

[On your way home at night, you think you hear something in the darkness. It might just be your imagination.]

[Listen check: D100 = 49/45, failure]

[So you notice nothing at all.]

Lin Jingqiu: I want to make a Stealth check.

If I don’t know what’s out there, I’ll become the thing that’s out there!

[While undercover, you and your teammates are being searched. The enemy is about to find the pistol on you.]

[Sleight of Hand check: D100 = critical success]

[You quietly place the pistol on the enemy. Once the search is over, you take it back.]

Lin Jingqiu: Thank the dice! Praise the dice!

After discovering how useful the dice were, Lin Jingqiu finally understood.

What’s this? A crime scene. Make an Investigation check. What’s this? A suspect. Make a Psychology check. What’s this? An interrogation. Make an Intimidation check...

Let the dice handle clues you can’t find and enemies you can’t defeat!
