[Western Crossover] Engineer Wei Quits

What studying civil engineering gave me:

1. The strong physique I built hauling bricks helps me handle the grueling physical labor of working through the night.

2. The resilience I developed from being put through the wringer by clients helps me withstand constant pressure, repeated setbacks, and rejection.

3. The mismatch between what schools teach and what the market needs gave me an exceptional drive to learn and the ability to teach myself.

4. My work environment taught me to adapt quickly to any harsh conditions.

5. I can accept the huge gap between the effort I put in and the much smaller returns, even over a long period of time.

6. I'm highly open to switching to any industry.

So I'm confident I have what it takes to do this new job, even if it means playing a 6.7-foot-tall middle-class Batman.

Wei

P.S.

1. This isn't the final blurb. The protagonist quits his job and, unable to find work, applies to become Batman (no). The original version of Batman is still around. Includes infrastructure development.

2. Revised in September 2025 to remove the CP.

Theme: The choices you make matter more than how hard you work.
