A classic cultivation story. The heroine is a well-rounded powerhouse, obsessed with being number one, and a total grind machine.
Before her college entrance exams, Lin Deng transmigrates to the cultivation world. Her body mysteriously shrinks, leaving her a child with no household registration.
At long last, someone takes her back to an immortal sect, and she can finally cultivate. Just as she is about to draw qi into her body...
[Candidate detected drawing qi into their body. A mock exam has been issued. Complete it within two hours. A failing grade will cause qi absorption to fail.]
[Question 1 (3 points)
What is the best time to make pills?]
[Question 2 (5 points)
Describe the terrain of XX Sect and analyze why the sect was built there.]
[Question 3 (7 points)
If a spirit stone contains x units of spiritual energy, a third-stage Qi Refining cultivator absorbs spiritual energy at y units per second, and the spiritual energy needed to advance from the third to the fourth stage of Qi Refining is z, how many spirit stones and how much time will the cultivator need to advance to the fourth stage?]
Lin Deng: ...? Is this even reasonable?
Her silence is deafening.
As her cultivation realm rises, the exams cover more and more: pill-making, formations, crafting, beast-taming, spells...
Lin Deng can only study herself to the bone, and when she finally looks back, everyone in the cultivation world hails her as an all-around god.
Content warnings:
1. There is a System. It has no consciousness and does not communicate. It's just a question bank that helps the heroine consolidate her knowledge. Strictly speaking, it probably doesn't count as a golden finger.
2. Romance takes up a small portion of the story and serves as a diversion from cultivation. I don't think the male characters qualify as male leads, so I haven't listed them individually.
3. The heroine isn't attracted to men stronger than her. All she can think about is surpassing them.
