The Junior Sister Ascends by Auditing the Books

After pulling an all-nighter auditing the shady books of a publicly listed company, Shen Zhiwei died and transmigrated into the junior sister of a slacker sect in the cultivation world.

The original owner had been punished for sneaking a spiritual fruit and assigned to watch over the accounts. After arriving, Shen Zhiwei discovered that...

This lousy sect had racked up 80 million spirit stones in debt, and even their protective formation was kept running on credit!

As she was breaking down, a System tailored to her professional expertise awakened.

[Expose a false entry, and you can begin cultivating spiritual energy]

[Catch an elder embezzling, and you can break through to Foundation Establishment]

[Reform the finances of the Three Realms, and you can ascend on the spot]

Shen Zhiwei: "Hey, this is my old line of work!"

So at the sect's morning meeting, she whipped out an Excel-generated "Spiritual Vein Loss Analysis Report":

"The sect leader embezzles 30% in pill kickbacks, Senior Brother Two resells sword manuals and inflates the prices, and even the guardian beast's feed has been replaced with inferior stuff!"

The entire sect was horrified. "Nonsense! Junior Sister... don't make things up!"

Later...

The Pill Peak elder clutched his fake ledgers and begged, "Please, don't write off my furnace loan!"

The Demon Venerable destroyed his shady contracts overnight. "I am turning over a new leaf! I'll pay back the spirit stones I evaded taxes on!"
