Gentle Top, Powerful Bottom; Beautiful and Strong; Mpreg; Both Are Virgins
A young physician is handsome and beautiful, with a gentle, mild-mannered nature and little interest in fame or fortune. He lives in seclusion in a village. One day, he finds an amnesiac man by the river and takes him home to treat him with care.
The young physician names him Xun'an and devotes himself to treating him and helping him recover his memories.
The man is tall, handsome, and powerfully built, with an especially broad, full chest. His wheat-colored skin and imposing stature make the young physician look all the more pale and delicate by comparison.
Though the man has lost his memory, he obeys the physician in everything and protects him at every turn. One night, they confess their feelings. The young physician trembles and tries to resist beneath the man's kisses. His heart is overwhelmed by their passionate love, but he still holds fast to his principles.
"If you regain your memories... what if you don't recognize me anymore?"
"I swear I will never betray you in this life."
The man makes this promise.
And so they marry, loving and trusting each other without a doubt.
The young physician's family has inherited a Gu that can make a man pregnant. In the midst of their loving marriage, the man bears him a child. Even though he cannot recover the man's memories, he loses himself in their embrace, thinking:
Let us stay together for all our lives.
But one day, soon after giving birth, the man leaves without a word, abandoning the young physician and their child with nothing but a note that says, "Do not look for me."
The young physician thinks perhaps the man has regained his memories and cannot bear to make him share the burdens of the world.
...He cannot believe that the wife who told him night after night how deeply he was loved could abandon him so decisively.
The frail, helpless husband misses his wife so much that he sets out with their child to find him, wandering through a land torn apart by war.
After enduring countless hardships, he reaches the capital, where a few clues have led him. There, above the nine tiers of palace halls, he sees a lofty, aloof emperor and tyrant.
The emperor sits high above all others, arrogant and indifferent, incomparably regal, with a cruel, violent chill hidden beneath his lowered gaze.
This is... his wife.
But the man suddenly grabs the young physician by the throat and pins him to the wall, leaning close to his ear, his heavy breathing full of menace.
His voice is low and restrained, filled with vicious hatred and contempt.
"The thought of having submitted to you while I was amnesiac, and even bearing your child, disgusts me."
"You came all the way to the capital. Are you forcing me to grind your bones to dust and tear you limb from limb?!"
The man's voice is harsh and vicious. The hand that once tenderly stroked the young physician's head now grips his throat cruelly.
Feeling the pain in his neck, the young physician stares at the man's cold eyes. In a daze, he sheds a single tear, and only then does he begin to understand.
His Xun'an is dead.
The emperor has used him and cast him aside.
When the man disgustedly lets go and tells him to get out, the young physician holds the sobbing baby, lowers his eyes, kneels, and bows his head in apology.
His voice is clear as shattered jade, yet gives away no emotion.
"This commoner is base and unworthy, and has profaned Your Majesty's imperial body. I thank Your Majesty for sparing my life."
The young physician leaves with the child in his arms, staggering out of the palace, yet still speaking softly to soothe the baby.
Only his tears keep falling, pattering down amid the child's cries.
His Xun'an is dead.
His child is still alive.
So the young physician opens a clinic, forgets the vows they once made to love each other forever, and settles into a quiet life as a widowed husband, raising his child alone.
--
Perhaps it is the melancholic, distinctive air of a widowed husband that lies beneath the young physician's handsome, refined appearance. Though he has always been indifferent to fame and fortune, devoting himself to raising his child and treating the sick, he soon attracts many obsessive, fanatical suitors.
Healthy people pretend to be ill just to spend time with him and win his affections.
...The young physician hates people who cause a scene at his clinic.
After throwing out the Nth patient suffering from lovesickness, the clinic welcomes its N+1st visitor. The young physician lowers his eyes to the medical register and asks softly, "...What are your symptoms?"
The patient says nothing.
The young physician furrows his brow slightly and studies the register. When the visitor still does not speak, he thinks this must be yet another lovesick patient using a pursuit as an excuse to cause trouble at the clinic.
Just as he is about to look up and throw out the N+1st lovesick patient...
The man, who has been silent for a long time, suddenly speaks, his hoarse voice trembling.
"...A case of lovesickness and regret."
The young physician looks up, stunned.
The arrogant, lofty man he left behind that day looks weary and haggard. Pain and mist cloud his eyes, and his long, broad hand seems to want to touch the young physician's cheek once more.
The man's voice catches, hoarse with emotion.
"I... I miss you so much. Would you be willing to, "
The young physician responds by impassively throwing out the N+1st troublemaking patient.
He can't cure someone who used and abandoned him!
--
His Xun'an is already dead.
The young physician understood this when he stumbled out of the palace that day.
So he looks up at the man and says again and again, his voice calm and resolute, "My wife, Xun'an, has passed away. He is the only person I have ever loved."
But he is Xun'an. Xun'an is him.
The man gives a cold, contemptuous snort at the name "Xun'an," then tries to suppress his breathing.
Yet under the young physician's cold gaze, panic surges in his heart. Trembling, he speaks, hiding the violence and pain in his eyes as he repeats hoarsely, again and again:
"I am Xun'an. I am Xun'an."
But the young physician remains unmoved, his gaze calm and pale, as if to say: You are not him.
"How am I inferior to him?! Why do you keep thinking of him? I'm Xun'an!"
The man grips his shoulders tightly, his hurried breath brushing against the corner of his lips. His eyes are almost bloodshot with hysteria.
Inferior.
His Xun'an would never become hysterical like this. His Xun'an would never squeeze his throat.
His Xun'an would never make him cry, not even a single tear.
1. The regretful pursuit of a husband, beautiful top and powerful bottom; gentle top and powerful bottom.
2. A mild, aloof, gentle, refined, beautiful, delicate physician and widowed husband top x a fanatical, deranged, domineering, possessive ghostly emperor tyrant bottom. The bottom has a degree of psychosis and a split personality, and is very unhinged.
3. Writing this for my own enjoyment. I want a thoroughly satisfying regretful pursuit of a husband. These are my personal tastes, so please don't flame me if it's not your thing. If you don't like it, feel free to click away. Hope we meet at the next turn.
