[Horror Crossover / The Boys] Give It a Rest, Homelander

Right after graduating, Su Man was lucky enough to land a job at Vought International, a Fortune 500 company.

But when she discovers that the subject of the lab’s research is a boy not yet ten years old, all her passion instantly drains away.

In this snow-white human hell, people are more terrifying than demons.

She watches helplessly as the boy is tortured. In the middle of the night, all she sees in her dreams are his cold eyes and indifferent face.

She tries again and again to change things, only to fail every time.

When the company once again teaches the boy how to kill, Su Man loses her nerve and hands in her resignation.

Sorry, she wants to be a good person.

For the first time, the boy shows that he doesn’t want her to leave.

He breaks through every restraint and begs her humbly to stay, but Su Man’s heart is as hard as iron: This corporate wage slave is changing jobs!

Su Man happily joins Umbrella Corporation, where she works with two rising stars in academia to study a new virus.

Then she notices her coworker at the next desk, eyes askew and mouth twisted, skin peeling off and drool hanging from his mouth, leaning in close to her. “Hey, coworker. You smell delicious.”

Su Man: ? Wait... you?

What do you do when the pressure at work turns all your coworkers into zombies? Asking for a friend. It’s urgent.

Su Man starts writing another resignation letter. Before she can finish, Homelander, the spiritual pillar of the American people, the eternal guardian of the Wings of Freedom, the golden ark amid the flood of disaster, the undying star of the fifty states, the crime-fighting champion above the clouds, Vought International’s eternal pride, and the world’s strongest superhero, descends from the sky to deliver justice. He exposes Umbrella Corporation’s evil crimes and wipes out its headquarters, eliminating dozens of mad scientists in one fell swoop.

The frail, solitary boy of years past now wears the Star-Spangled Banner and sports a carefree smile.

He lifts the ruined wall blocking Su Man from view with one hand. His icy blue eyes glow blood-red as they lock onto her.

“Big Sis, long time no see. I won’t let you get away this time.”
