The Starlight Keeps Stealing My Fries

#Reborn to Raise a Little Seagull# #Why Is Hoshimiya So Tsundere?# #The Way That Seagull Soars Against the Wind Is Just Too Mesmerizing!# What does it mean to be strong? Six-year-old Haruka Hanasaki thought it meant being huge, like her father, whose slap had nearly killed her. But when sixteen-year-old Haruka Hanasaki saw that figure, not even 1.7 meters tall, leap into the air, she thought her childhood idea was laughable. A seagull that can soar against the wind is what it means to be strong and dazzling! She stumbled along, learning to spread her wings like a seagull, escaped the mire of her childhood, and began living the life she had longed for, her Back to Field. Only one thing remained a regret: She had never thanked the person who gave her the courage to do it. Who would have thought? Hey! She was reborn! Haruka Hanasaki: “Hikari, one day you’ll rule the skies.” Little Seagull (out loud): “Hmph, I already know that without you telling me.” (thinking): Damn it, she believes in me so much. I absolutely can’t lose! Day-god, enjoying the show: Let’s see how long it takes these two idiots to figure it out. Little Seagull: “Day-god, listen, Haruka’s been blablabla...” Day-god: “Why don’t you confess to her?” Little Seagull: “Huh???!!! I don’t like her! I don’t, I haven’t, don’t make things up!” Haruka Hanasaki: “Day-god, Hikari is, well, blablabla...” Day-god: “...Why don’t you confess to him?” Haruka Hanasaki: “W-wait, what? I don’t have those kinds of feelings for him! He’s the person I admire most!” Day-god, enjoying the show: Are these two idiots playing some game where whoever confesses first loses? Reading guide: 1. Please go easy on me if anyone feels out of character! 2. Childhood-friends daily life with the little seagull, still a sweet little treat. The naturally straightforward heroine is a natural counter to the tsundere! 3. The heroine is reborn. Although she constantly flirts with the little seagull in a very direct way, at first her feelings are a complicated mix of admiration and affection (?). 4. This is a crossover with Bakuman, Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun, and others (with little screen time). There are lots of headcanons, such as Niizuma and Chiyo attending middle school in Nagano. 5. It really is all everyday life and melodramatic plot. The author’s abilities are limited, so I can’t make everyone like it. Meeting is fate, and parting opens the door to the next fateful encounter, so please leave friendly comments (hands clasped, please try not to give it a low rating). Love you all~.
