Chao Ying has a strange quirk: she can see animal ears growing on people's heads. Their fluffy fur always catches her attention, so she's not very focused on anything she does.
The doctor says she has a delusion. But Chao Ying thinks this strange quirk helps her understand people. For example, people she dislikes have pig ears, bad-tempered people have wolf ears, and gentle people have elephant ears.
Chao Ying thinks she has rabbit ears, so she only befriends herbivores. Her best friend has deer ears, and the two get along especially well.
Until one day, Chao Ying meets another rabbit.
Chao Ying has never seen rabbit ears on anyone but herself, so she freezes, unable to look away from those beautiful ears.
When Chao Ying's friend hears that she thinks Ji Puzhou is a rabbit, she is utterly shocked. You mean that rich young master who's 1.89 meters tall, likes archery and rock climbing, and can wrap one hand around your waist is a rabbit?
Chao Ying successfully befriends another bunny. Later, she confirms that Ji Puzhou really is like a rabbit, but a carnivorous one.
