[Next up: I'm opening The Hell, How Could Anyone Forget Their Own Dog? (I think that's the title. I might change it...)]
[This novel follows A Long, Long Way to You. If you're interested, you can check it out in my collection~]
[Blurb]
The heir to the Marquis of Xuanping died in battle. The old marquis cared deeply for the younger generation and sympathized with his daughter-in-law, who had been married for barely ten years and was still young and alone. After consulting with her family, he sent her back to her parents' home in the capital.
On the day Cui Lidu returned to the capital, a group of young wastrels rode out of the city. The man at their head flicked his whip, snapping open the curtain of her carriage and exposing the young widow dressed in mourning white to everyone around.
Not a single onlooker dared stand up for Cui Lidu. The man was He D uchuan, the young tyrant of the He family, and the very same poor soul who had been her childhood sweetheart before she broke off their engagement ten years ago.
Cui Lidu looked up at him across the way.
Her former fiance was still radiant and audacious, looking down at her with unmistakable scorn and mockery, as though he were watching a joke.
She did not bring shame upon the Cui family or argue with him. She calmly ordered her servants to clear the way and continued on.

News that He Duchuan had publicly humiliated Cui Lidu spread throughout the capital in a single day. The Cui family discussed sending her to stay at one of their country estates for a while, so she could lie low.
That night, He Duchuan climbed over Cui Lidu's garden wall as if he knew the way by heart and spoke to her through a flower window.
"Cui Lidu, are you still willing to marry me?"

Here's the blurb for my next novel
(The Hell, How Could Anyone Forget Their Own Dog? The Hell, How Can an Author Be So Bad at Naming Things?)
Xiao Zhuo recently injured his head. He slept in a daze at home for two or three days before waking. During those days, he had a very long dream.
He dreamed that he would go off to battle soon, where someone would strike him on the head, right on an old injury, and beat him into a complete idiot.
The Xiao family couldn't find him and assumed he was dead. In reality, a beautiful noblewoman happened to pass by and take him home.
Her maid made fun of him for being stupid and called him a dumb dog to his face.
But he couldn't understand her, and dutifully served as the lady's dog for many years.
After Xiao Zhuo woke up, he was extremely displeased. He rubbed his hands together and went off to battle, protecting his head so thoroughly that not even a crack was left exposed.
He thought, Hah. Whether that dream was real or not, there's no way I'd ever be a woman's dog.
He turned his humiliation into strength and beat the enemy until they were utterly helpless, fleeing in a panic and abandoning their armor. They even left their own daughter behind on the road.
Xiao Zhuo sneered as he captured the prisoner, then pulled away her veil and took a look. What a familiar face.
So familiar that the moment she looked at him, he found himself kneeling before her.

After Zhao Lingxi died unjustly and was reborn, she took a hard look at her life and decided to find a way to survive.
Unfortunately, a dog was blocking her path to freedom and refused to let her pass, no matter what.
She gave him a sour look, and the dog wagged its tail. She gave him a friendly look, and the dog wagged its tail all the same.
She said she wanted to leave, and the dog spoke human words: "Have I mistreated you? Why are you so determined to leave?"
Zhao Lingxi was baffled.
She'd never even met him before. Why did he act as if she owed him something?
What a weirdo!
#Both are reborn
#There's no way I'd ever be her dog!
#The hell, how could anyone forget their own dog?
Theme: Amid a tangle of wild grasses, all life chases the spring.
I thought the ending would be them traveling around the world together, but why is it that the male protagonist is alone in his empty house and becomes obsessed with his wife?
How can Inutagawa recover Lido? The dead Bai Yueguang can be cherished for a lifetime, not to mention that the life of the ex-husband is between the two (so the secret letter written by the male protagonist that is suspected of suffocating the ex-husband to death has some hidden agenda [holding up the chin], it's so sour to read)
Xiao Shen is too good. Who wouldn't love such a person? No wonder Liniang fell in love with him. What a pity.
Finished spreading flowers! It ended all at once [Let me be healthy]. This ending is also very good.
In fact, I was quite happy when I watched the ending, because it was not a happy ending in the traditional sense. I was very glad that I chose such a rejection, because after Cui Lidu saw freedom, she would not return to the square life. This was not the ending that I expected, but it would definitely be the ending that Cui Lidu wanted. Happy ending 🎆🎆🎆
The straightforward and cheerful big dog will definitely cure Haolido's [touching head] I'm waiting for the sweets later
Damn, your writing is so good, your writing is so good, the emotional scenes are great
So well written! Tied in one breath, Xiao Shen is really good, it's a pity. . .
Author, you are really good at writing emotional dramas. It's so good. I like these chapters very much. Will you update more today?
I have to refresh it several times a day, why haven't I updated it? I'm sad.
