[Looks like BW has taken another kid home. The reporters are too far away to see anything but black hair. Will this one have blue eyes too?]
As the title says, has BW fallen out of fashion in Gotham? This is such a big deal, but the reporters couldn't even go borrow the Large Magellan Telescope in Chile to get a clear look at what the new kid looks like.
L: Watch your wording. Was the kid "taken in" or "adopted"?
L: There's not much difference, is there? The ones they took in still have inheritance rights, don't they?
L: But didn't the adopted one say the others were all trash? If they take in another one, will they fight?
L: I hope they're blue-eyed. I'm obsessed with their ancient Roman looks.
L: Isn't this the BF board? Why do you keep posting BW threads? Try hyping up those pretty boys of yours on the BF board again and see what happens.
L: ...Here we go again, the evergreen thread: "Why are there always BW threads on the BF board?"
L: Keep running your mouths and you'll get sent to work in BE's PR department. Go ahead, keep whining.
L: Anyone who still refuses to admit there's a tangled connection between BW and BF should have their mouths used as building materials when Los Angeles is rebuilt!
L: If you'd been born in time for 9/11, you could've stopped the planes with your mouths.
L: Off topic. Who's going to borrow a telescope in Chile? I want to see the new kid's face.
L: Why not wait and see if there's a new Robin?
L: Why are we talking about a new Robin? Isn't this an astronomy forum?
L: ...I told you that super-professional forum navigation the admins made would cause problems.
L: It's not easy for astronomy fans to get the question right... This forum has a higher bar than the SAT, and it's the Gotham-exclusive "Keeping Up with the Waynes" edition.
L: Now I get why that seemed so weird. I thought even Gotham astronomers were Wayne fans.
L: Outsiders, get lost!
L: Outsiders, get lost!
L: @Admin, there's an outsider here! Check their IP and ban their account!!!!
L: Back to the new kid. Could they be the new Robin?
L: Depends whether the new Robin can beat the current one. The current Robin hasn't even grown up yet, so retirement seems unlikely. And that kid is fierce.
L: Their hits hurt, too.
L: So if they really replace the current Robin, doesn't that mean they're even fiercer?
L: Fierceness doesn't matter. If they can replace the current Robin, it means their hits hurt more.
L: Nooo, not that!----------
L: It already hurts so much!------------
L: Nooo, not that!------------
L: Nooo!------------
L: But why use a telescope? Is the new kid an alien?
L: I hate people with no sense of humor.
As the title says, a Batkids story told through forum posts.
P.S. When it comes to the Robin position, the Batkid is the type who tries to take it but can't win, and eventually settles down and does their actual job.
P.P.S. Their actual job is being a cryptid.
Trying something new. I'll write when I have time.
