[Marvel/DC] Operators from an Arknights What-If Timeline

I probably won't write this idea after all.

After nearly three years in the laboratory, Harold wakes with a start after thunder cracks on a rainy night. Dazed, he senses something off in his field of vision, though he can't quite put it into words. He looks at the computer. The data faithfully records what happened twenty minutes ago: this time, he failed to perfectly replicate the experiment that should have worked. The mice remain dead, and once again, the replication failed. That should have been the end of it, but what is that thing crawling restlessly inside the cage?

The energy-measuring instrument beeps. In a flash, he understands that some factor beyond his expectations may have produced the result he wanted. Even if the odds are less than one in ten thousand, he leaves the lab and rushes toward his destination!

Certain beings have secretly invaded Gotham, and the Dark Knight watches over his city.

The grave is empty: they disturbed Jason's rest;

Harley's presence is fading: they are watching her;

The Joker was killed by Harley: who is pulling the strings behind the scenes?

Tim has lost his memories of that rainy night: what is someone trying to hide?

Those perfect faces, holy or uncanny: who are you?!

A lot of things are going well. Bruce Wayne looks at his family.

Dick is fighting for his own path;

Harold has finally completed his experiment and, for the first time in three years, truly returns home;

Jason has escaped the clutches of death. Wearing a jacket, he leans against his motorcycle and eats a spicy hot dog;

Tim has grown into someone capable of standing on his own;

Damian now has someone he can ask to attend parent-teacher meetings.

The above is a pretentious introduction (don't take it seriously).

In Gotham, you should not run into:

1. A red-eyed, white-haired girl with more than just superhuman strength

2. A handsome cat-eared guy hiding in the shadows

3. A red-haired angel bearing fragments of radiant wings, sending bullets flying as she guides souls onward

4. A blue-haired little boy who is great at making exotic Japanese food

5. A gentle, intelligent, and well-informed researcher

If you do run into them... well, that's fine too, someone said.

The alternate timeline is a heavily modified Red Hood timeline, combined with a timeline where Harold (the protagonist of the previous book) never got into a car accident.

Important, important!!!

First, I'm tagging this as no-CP.

That familiar playboy personality runs in the family.

If a CP develops as I write, it will probably, maybe, possibly be one of the five above (with a great deal of uncertainty).
