Trapped in an Earth Cage

Ten thousand years ago.

The Heavenly Emperor: "Little dragon, train hard. Once I achieve immortality, I'll repay you one day for saving my life by carving out your heart."

Little Ao Guang flicked his tail. "Will you still remember me then?"

The Heavenly Emperor: "Of course I won't forget."

Ten thousand years later.

The Heavenly Emperor: "Why does this dragon seem so familiar?"

Ao Guang: "Have I smelled this old geezer somewhere before?"

Later, Ao Guang, being a bit dim, was talked into giving the Heavenly Emperor a Bosuo fruit.

The Heavenly Emperor flew into a rage, banished Ao Guang to the mortal realm, and confined him beneath the East Sea to reflect on his actions.

Ao Guang fumed. "Reflect on my ass! I'd rather lock myself away forever than admit I was wrong!"

The Heavenly Emperor: "..."

You little rascal, I even gave you the key. What would it hurt to just swallow your pride? Would you lose a piece of yourself?

[I'm exhausted. Can't sort this out, so let's leave it at that for now.]
