I'll Repay You Even as a Ghost

Three years after graduating, Hua Xiao has been battered by life. Then, all of a sudden, things start going his way:

A client's new-home design gets approved on the first try, but his commission falls through;

The director who is always giving him a hard time is inexplicably transferred, but his own pay is cut;

A brick falls at a construction site and lands just beside his foot, but then he gets hit by a car;

Even the antique computer at home, which takes at least three hours to render anything, seems to have come back to life and runs at lightning speed...

But is that five-figure electricity bill trying to kill him?!

A not particularly committed materialist and overworked office drone, Hua Xiao suspects he might have seen a ghost.

Then, by chance, his camera captures the face that keeps appearing in his dreams: a translucent face.

Hua Xiao is certain that he really has seen a ghost.

The face belongs to Ji Shixu.

Hua Xiao's childhood friend.

A top student in Huai University’s interior design program.

Dead in an accident three years ago.

They'd been close since childhood. When Hua Xiao was young, he pulled Ji Shixu out of a quagmire, and Ji had once sworn, eyes red: I'll repay you, even if I have to become a ghost...

Hua Xiao was spooked and kept saying there was no need.

He never imagined that one day, by a twist of fate, his childhood friend really would become a ghost.

And that he'd do everything he could to repay him...

Please.

If you're going to repay me, act like a living person!

Hua Xiao doesn't need Ji Shixu to repay him.

After confirming that the guy had come back, he repeatedly called out to the empty room: "Ji Shixu, I know you're here! You've rendered so many design plans for me. When are you going to render yourself?"

"I... want to see you."
