[Synopsis for my upcoming novel, Don't Use a Cat Paw to Flirt with Me, at the very end]
Rumor had it in their circle that the Shang and Xiang families had been at odds since the previous generation. So when a marriage contract between the Shang family’s young master and the Xiang family’s young lady came to light, it left countless people dumbfounded.
A friend, baffled, went to ask the person involved.
Xiang Yishu rubbed her hands together, eyes shining. “That guy sounds exciting, just from his name.”
Until she saw her fiance, dressed in a three-piece suit and gold-rimmed glasses, stern-faced, with “three times a month” written into their prenup…
Oh.
A stuffy, abstinent type.
Handsome, sure, but totally not her type.
After they married, Shang Xingye spared no praise for his wife. “My virtuous wife is just as her name suggests: quiet, graceful, and accomplished inside and out.”
That was until he returned home early from a business trip and found Mrs. Shang throwing a pool party with all her friends, with male models hired for entertainment…
His virtuous-wife filter shattered into pieces.
The Shang and Xiang families were a powerful alliance, riding high, and there was no way they could easily untangle themselves from each other.
Certain that her husband had no intention of divorcing her, Xiang Yishu spread her hands and rolled her eyes. “I’m done pretending. Here’s the truth.”
She hated their dutiful, respectful relationship.
She was sick of their dull married life.
“And another thing, you always do it the same way, with the same routine, timing it all down to the minute. I got tired of it ages ago!”
After hearing his wife’s complaints, Shang Xingye fell into deep thought.
“So you like things more exciting?”
In the dim light of the bedside lamp, the man took off his glasses. No longer gentle and reserved as before, he slowly wound his tie around his wrist, one loop at a time.
His deliberately lowered voice carried a bewitching edge, making him seem unfamiliar to Xiang Yishu. “...Then I don’t have to pretend, either.”
Daddy-type fake gentleman X sweet-on-the-outside, wild-on-the-inside rich young lady

[Synopsis for my next novel, Don't Use a Cat Paw to Flirt with Me, below]
When the first rumble of the private yacht sounded, the eldest Miss Baili tossed away her eighteenth set of arranged-marriage prospect profiles.
Her friend was shocked. “Seriously? You’re turning down Shao Boru too? He’s old money from Wucheng, with a solid family fortune and a great income!”
Miss Baili raised an eyebrow and showed off her limited-edition handbag and luxury car keys. “Do I look like I’m short on money?”
“He’s so handsome, too!”
“Do I look like I have no handsome guys chasing me?”
“He owns a villa in Ziyu Manor!”
“Do I look like I can’t afford a villa?”
Her friend fell silent for a moment. “I heard Shao Boru has seven cats at his villa! Every one of them is plump, sweet, adorable, well-behaved, and obedient! Some have even been in magazines and TV dramas!”
“Do I look like…”
Baili Yu, a cat lover, suddenly faltered.
I do.
Two days later, word spread through Wucheng’s high society that the Baili and Shao families were about to arrange a marriage.
Her arranged match said he had seven children.
Baili Yu said she was more than happy to become a mother without the pain of childbirth.
*
They married only to appease their elders. After the wedding, Baili Yu and Shao Boru agreed not to interfere in each other’s lives, and that either could leave at any time if they found true love.
Onlookers sighed. The fake couple both had tempers, so living together was bound to be rough.
Some even claimed to have seen Miss Baili sneaking out of the mansion alone before dawn, carrying a cat carrier and wiping away tears, as though she’d been wronged by her husband and was planning to steal the cats and run…
A friend called and patiently advised her, “If things aren’t going well, you should get divorced sooner rather than later.”
At the time, Baili Yu was lying in the double bed at Ziyu Manor, with her seven little brats, Number One through Number Seven, in her arms. Furrowing her brow, she replied helplessly, “I’ve consulted a divorce lawyer. The cats won’t be awarded to me.”
Before she could finish,
a clearly defined hand reached over and ruthlessly hung up her call, then coaxed the cats clinging to Baili Yu away, too.
Shao Boru pulled his wife close.
Even the lofty young master had to plead in a low voice. “For the children’s sake, don’t bring up divorce again.”
Theme: If you love her, you must accept every side of her
I really like the brother-sister-in-law episode! It's really a bargain for me, hahahaha (I'm not afraid of too much)

[Orange Candy] I got it. [Orange Candy] I got it. It's very nice and sweet. I like the heart-breaking sweet stories like Sad Yeah and Little Love Letter, which are about marrying first and then falling in love. I'm also looking forward to the new book Kitty Knife [Cat Claw].
Finished with flowers~ Can Qiang completely let go of her worries just because she knows that the Xiang family is very powerful and can protect herself...?
I like it very much! 🎆🎆🎆 I hope everything goes well ❤️
I have always thought that Tie Tie is synonymous with doi, and now there is another celebration hahahahaha
Indeed... A problem that can be solved with money is not a problem... You kid wants to celebrate every day, right?
