After the capital fell, Jiang Chan drank a potion that robbed her of her voice and became the only mute servant in the Princess Royal's household.
The Princess Royal was cold and ruthless. She helped the emperor seize the throne by killing all his political enemies, then spent her days indulging in luxury, surrounded by countless male companions.
She looked down on Jiang Chan. Jiang Chan had turned to the enemy to stay alive, so the princess let her servants bully the girl. As time passed, though, she decided Jiang Chan really was easy to pick on, and occasionally stood up for her.
Jiang Chan knew her place was lowly, and from beginning to end, all she felt for the Princess Royal was gratitude.
As time went by, a faint, hard-to-detect flutter of affection joined that gratitude.
Knowing she was unworthy of the Princess Royal, Jiang Chan tried to bury her feelings.
Then the Princess Royal fell out with the emperor, was stripped of her title, and placed under house arrest.
Jiang Chan wanted to help her. She wanted to kill the emperor, but instead stumbled upon a shocking secret...
The destruction of her family had been orchestrated entirely by the Princess Royal!

The Puppet Princess:
“So what am I to you, Your Highness? A puppet? An enemy?”
“Red candles, warm curtains, a beauty by my side. Zhiyu, is that what you want to ask me as you face death?”
The poison filled Song Zhiyu with bitterness. Her vision blurred as Su Jinghe pressed her face against hers. “Zhiyu, in our next life, let's not meet.”
The poison took effect, and Song Zhiyu could no longer speak.
When she opened her eyes again, she had returned to the winter when she first met Su Jinghe.
With snow falling all around, she was on the verge of starving to death when Su Jinghe invited her into the palace to serve as her double.
After avenging her family, Song Zhiyu had planned to be a dutiful stand-in. But she couldn't help giving in to her delusions, hoping for even a trace of affection.
Princess Jinghe was proud by nature and domineering in everything she did. Her eyes were fixed on the affairs of the court, her heart set on the throne and the empire, and there was no room for Song Zhiyu in either.
Remembering Su Jinghe's merciless words, Song Zhiyu made a bold decision.
She gripped the dagger at her side and plunged it hard into Su Jinghe as she passed by...

Theme: Pursue what you want and never give up
How could ber still get along with her despite the hatred of killing her relatives?
After reading it, I feel that there is actually no need for Jiang Chan to be poisoned and mute, because throughout the whole story, she can communicate well with others, everyone's level of sign language is very high, and Jiang's hands [melt] very quickly.
Why are you still talking if you're not mute?
The next chapter has been resubmitted. I don't know when it will be reviewed. Let's read it tomorrow 🤔 Good night and have a good sleep.
How can you still communicate without any barriers when you are obviously mute?
Can she speak or not? Not everyone can understand sign language, right?
I actually think it's a pity that this book has been hastily finished. I really like the setting in it. There are still many problems that have not been solved. If there is a chance, I hope the author will continue writing or write an extra chapter. I really want to read it! The author's writing is very good! [Spread flowers]
Is this one finished? Still stopped updating
"Princess, what do you mean?" "Ginger..." This is a big bug for the author~ Dealing with...
😂 You can still write well, keep up the good work
