My Childhood Friend Is a Tentacle Monster

After staying up all night for three nights in a row, Wu Zhilu opens her front door and finds that familiar figure sprawled among a pile of packages.

"Fu Xingyi, have you forgotten how to walk?"

A damp sensation winds around her lower leg beneath her nightgown.

Wu Zhilu hears a strange voice calling, "Lulu, Lulu, Lulu!"

Looking down, Wu Zhilu sees Fu Xingyi's eight tentacles waving beneath the boxes.

Just before high school graduation, at their last get-together, a storm rages outside a mountain villa.

Fu Xingyi thinks he's going to die that day.

Jagged rocks cut into his arm. As he's about to fall, a voice suddenly echoes in his mind:

Lulu.

Lulu, my darling Lulu, how could I have waited until I was dying to realize I have a heart that loves you?

By some miracle, Fu Xingyi survives the fall from the cliff.

He just...

turns into a monster.

That's wonderful.

Now he has three hearts to love Wu Zhilu with.
