[History Livestream] A Rundown of Outstanding Women in Chinese History

Jiang Su is a content creator. During a livestream about the heroic women of Chinese history, she unexpectedly becomes bound to a time-crossing livestream System, broadcasting right in front of the historical figures themselves.

[Fu Hao: She was the first commander and female general. She had her own territory, serving as both its ruler and its king. She was a priestess, yet after her death, her husband, Shang Ding, married her off to an ancestor?]

Fu Hao: Married off? Shang Ding must think he can get away with anything!

[Lü Zhi: She was the wife who stood by Emperor Gaozu of Han through thick and thin. She was the first woman to rule as regent after the Qin emperor system was established. An ambitious woman and a ruler, she loved her son Liu Ying dearly, yet didn't claim the throne herself, leaving behind a threat!]

Lü Zhi: So this is what people in the future think of me?

[Ban Zhao: One of the great figures in the history of women's literature in ancient China, she was an educator, historian, and astronomer. Yet in her later years, she wrote Lessons for Women for Ban Jieyu, giving male rulers an excuse to suppress female rulers.]

Ban Zhao looks at her nephew petitioning on behalf of the Ban family descendants to compile a text of Lessons for Women: ...

[Deng Sui: The most capable of the six regent empresses of the Eastern Han, she was an outstanding female politician and ruler, and once a close friend of Ban Zhao. But after Lessons for Women appeared, she drove Ban Zhao out of the capital, and still came up short.]

Deng Sui: Hah. The imperial clan is afraid I'll turn into Lü Zhi?

[Xian Ying: She was the leader of Nanyue and the revered mother of Lingnan. No one could overshadow her brilliance. She was a born leader, politician, and military strategist.]

Young Xian Ying: I served three generations of rulers, and all I ever had was a good heart...

[Wu Zhao: She was the first female emperor in the long river of history. She left the judgment of her merits and faults to us in the future.]

Wu Zhao, during the period when she and Emperor Gaozong ruled together: ...

Shangguan Wan'er, Princess Pingyang, Qin Liangyu, Liang Hongyu, Li Qingzhao, and many more...

They are stars shining brightly in the long river of history.

They are politicians, ambitious women, historians, writers, scientists, poets...

Their brilliance cannot be hidden, and will never fade!

[This idea came to me on February 11, 2025.]
