My Desk Mate Is a Sword Cultivator

[Goofy, over-the-top modern cultivation story. The plot? Just kidding around.]

On the surface, Jiang Shiyu is an utterly ordinary high school girl.

As far as anyone can tell, there's nothing special about her besides being exceptionally good at math and science, and perpetually tired.

In reality, she's the second disciple of the Kunshan Sword Sect.

She's currently listed under the Yin-Yang Justice Bureau.

Jiang Shiyu's daily routine goes more or less like this:

Mock exams by day, flying her sword to hunt demons by night.

One night, after returning from a demon hunt on her flying sword, Jiang Shiyu landed on the rooftop of an abandoned building in a deserted part of her residential complex.

As she put away her sword, she instinctively flourished it. When she turned around, she found herself locking eyes with her deskmate:

Her deskmate was smoking. She was riding a flying sword.

The two model students stared at each other. It was awkward, to say the least.

Jiang Shiyu: Would you believe me if I said I couldn't sleep, so I came out for some exercise?

Ji Qiuxun always thought her deskmate was a koala that had taken human form.

She was always so sleepy she could barely keep her bearings.

Then one day, Ji Qiuxun discovered that she was also a sword cultivator who could fly on her sword.

Ji Qiuxun: Who could have guessed?

A campus cultivation story with both personal growth and fiery passion.

It's not especially serious.

Campus life and demon-hunting go hand in hand.

Theme: Protect all living beings.
