Yu Man is a sniping prodigy in shooting games. He started out as a streamer, and after just one year, he was recruited by the elite team MAE.

The night before heading to the team base, Yu Man went live to thank his viewers for their support. He kept scoring headshots and wiping out the other team until he hit a wall in one match. The opponents were all skilled players, and on his team, only Yu Man and a teammate with the ID "nonon" could put up a fight.

Yu Man was so relentlessly targeted that he was running out of options. He could only swallow his pride and ask his teammate for a gun, but the teammate was ice-cold, rapidly switching between knives and guns without acknowledging him.

The chat joked that the other player looked down on Yu Man.

Yu Man got mad. In a fit of anger, he got even madder, turned on voice chat, and called the other player "hubby."

"Hubby, give me a sniper rifle, pretty please~"

The chat filled with question marks. His teammate paused mid-knife switch, then actually tossed him the most expensive sniper rifle.

Seeing the chat swearing up a storm, Yu Man was thoroughly pleased with himself. He deliberately kept sweet-talking his "hubby," calling him hubby this and hubby that, and got his hands on sniper after sniper.

Yu Man had an unbelievably satisfying win, right up until the next day, when he saw an all-too-familiar ID at the training base: nonon.

Yu Man was sure he had to be seeing things.

With his heart in his throat, he messaged the other player: "...Hello, Captain."

The reply came immediately: "Not calling me hubby anymore?"
