The Transcendent, Shibusawa Tatsuhiko. A superpowered individual sustained by the combined efforts of all Japan during a great catastrophe, and the only Transcendent in Japan today.

Brilliant and powerful, he is also utterly indifferent to human feeling. He feels nothing for his friends, family, or even his country. The only thing that interests him is great power. His ability, "Tatsuhiko's Space," can separate abilities from their owners and crystallize them into human forms, only for the crystals to kill their owners. He collects them all.

The catastrophe gave him the brilliant collection of life he had long sought. Having lost interest in a Japan left in ruins and stripped of so many ability users, Shibusawa Tatsuhiko began clearing out the overflowing collection in Tatsuhiko's Space, where he found the crystal he had possessed since birth.

"Do you understand what it means to collect? It isn't about an object's value or use, and it certainly isn't about showing off or becoming famous. Collecting is simply something one does for pleasure," he said. "It is an act of pure, absolute individualism, done to satisfy one's own greed, interest, and preferences."

Reading notes:

1. Shibusawa Tatsuhiko is a Transcendent who can be considered to have obtained everyone's ability crystals. He's an all-around talent, with abilities that reach across the entire Earth. The background differs from the original work. This is the real Shibusawa, alive and well, and his personality is guaranteed to be OOC.

2. The System really is a fragment of QB (see the entry for Magical Girl). It passed through the world of Bungo Stray Dogs and had its power extracted by Shibusawa while he was still in the womb, turning it into a crystal. It has self-awareness but cannot move freely. It could escape, but it finds the situation interesting, so it stayed. When he was little, he used this crystal to visit several worlds, so expect some surprise male-mom types in other worlds. Because I love that trope.

3. There should be no CP, but there may be romantic interest and a seducer plot. Shibusawa Tatsuhiko is the top.

4. There will be lots of chaotic crossovers and anime references (take one look at the supporting-character list and I doubt anyone can recognize them all). I center the story on the protagonist, so even if the power levels, setting, and characterization are uneven, I'll still unconditionally power Shibusawa up. He's the strongest in this story. If you don't like it, please leave.

5. I've been building up the passion to start this story for 800 years, but the fact that I did nothing for the first 799 should tell you I have no idea what I'm writing. This is definitely going to be abandoned, and I have no outline, so I'll write as I go.
