[Seventh-Night Tales] You and I

“For the Nameless, kinship is something very vague and insubstantial. Our kind have long been used to living in our present forms alongside our memories, but what we pursue is not becoming ‘Nameless’, but becoming ‘ourselves’,” Li Yuting tilted his head toward Li Yuting. The female-presenting Nameless tilted her head toward him at the same time. Two nearly identical faces, differing only in outline due to their sexes, leaned together, like a pair of exquisite mechanical devices packaged side by side, liable to become one if you weren’t paying attention. “And as twins, we were born sharing everything, including the ‘selves’ we obtain.”

Ziche Fuzhao was about to continue with “So,” but his voice caught before the word came out. Facing those two pairs of black eyes, he twitched the corner of his mouth and felt a chill run down his back at what he had just imagined.

Reading note: There is no difference between before and after. The three of you should focus on living your lives well. Nothing matters more.

Theme: Twins as one, sharing everything.
