Lais picked up an A outside his shop. After rescuing him, he found little A following him around in adoration, calling him "big bro" one moment and "bro" the next.
"Bro, an Alpha like you who can fight must be really popular, right?"
"Bro, can you teach me how to get as strong as you?"
"If I had even half your skill, maybe I could become popular too."
Lais was so flattered he even forgot to correct the other boy about his gender, until little A came out to the whole world and announced that he had fallen for an Alpha named Lais.
Who? An Alpha? Him?
But he wasn't! He was a straight-as-an-arrow Omega.
Check out my upcoming novel: A Female Insect Reborn as an Omega
Blurb: General Virian was reborn as a delicate Omega. Unable to understand ABO civilization, he used the worldview of his own planet to reinterpret it:
Alpha: high-class male insects
Omega: weak female insects
Beta: a catch-all term for low-class male and female insects
Virian: I get it.
To land a date with a male insect, no, an Alpha, Virian started practicing martial arts again, learning about the new world's mecha systems, improving his physique, and honing his skills.
He gradually went from pale, delicate, and skinny to having firm muscles and sun-kissed skin.
A fellow Omega couldn't help advising him, "No Alpha will like you if you keep this up."
Virian glanced at the kind Omega's build and shook his head. "Don't worry about something so far in the future. With a frame like yours, how are you going to make it in the military? If you can't earn money, you won't be able to raise your egg... I mean, your kid."
A strange new anxiety has entered the picture. GPJ
The cafeteria workers at the Omega academy noticed that the once plentiful food supplies were gradually running low. The teacher in charge of flower arranging and etiquette realized that her adorable students were no longer soft and fragrant. Some of them even smelled sweaty, like Alphas.
When asked about it, all she got were confused looks and strange answers: "So we can... earn money and support our families?"
With his impressive strength and combat skills, Virian joined the military. The Alphas serving alongside him were skeptical. "An Omega can join the military? Even if he's only doing menial work, won't his heat affect everyone around him?"
Virian was puzzled. He tried to understand, and then he did: "Since you're such a delicate male... I mean, Alpha, it's only natural that your self-control isn't the best."
He was understanding and reassuring. "If you feel uncomfortable, just leave it to me. You don't have to tough it out."
The proud Alpha: ????
On the battlefield, an unexpected attack by alien beasts threw the troops into disarray.
"Damn it, fine if we die here, but there's an Omega with us!"
Just then, the Omega who had been diligently covering the team's rear and handling reconnaissance and support stepped forward. He shielded the Alphas and spoke calmly.
"Get behind me."
The Alphas: ????
After saving up and getting promoted, Virian finally landed a date with the Alpha he had been dreaming of, whom he'd carefully picked from a crowd of candidates. After a series of dates that progressed one step at a time, Lais got his wish and ended up carrying his own egg.
It's so easy to date a male in this world!
Gader had heard plenty about this Omega. He sounded like the protagonist of an Omega-rights movie, with every golden finger imaginable, a rebellious spirit, firm convictions, and extraordinary talent.
What he hadn't expected was that this famous Omega would ask him out himself.
First came dinner, then holding hands, then a hug... Wait, no, why are we suddenly skipping ahead to the hotel?!
When Gader found Virian and asked him to marry him and raise the child together, a pie chart of three parts surprise and three parts confusion appeared on the Omega's face.
"You're a pretty nice person... or insect, huh?"
