After Mistaking the Villainous Big Shot for My Dad

Age gap + size difference + pseudo father and son

Villainous big shot father-type top x pitiful cannon-fodder bottom

Lu Shiqing is a vicious cannon-fodder bottom in a melodramatic novel. He is infatuated with the main character top and repeatedly plots to harm the main character bottom. His schemes deepen the main couple’s feelings for each other, but in the end, he suffers the consequences and dies in a car accident.

After awakening, Lu Shiqing thinks: He refuses to be a part of the main couple’s games!

In the book, after he dies, his estranged father learns what happened and sets out to avenge him. But as he pursues revenge, his old flame rekindles, and he starts trying to force the main character bottom into a relationship. In the end, the main couple turns the tables and sends him to prison.

Lu Shiqing: “...”

No! He has to change the cannon-fodder fate awaiting both him and his father.

Following the book’s description, Lu Shiqing finds the man who is supposed to be his father.

The man is handsome, with sharp features and a tall, imposing figure that looks even more striking in his tailored suit. His whole bearing exudes the steadiness of a mature man.

Lu Shiqing throws himself into the man’s arms and chokes out, “Dad...” I won’t let us end up like we do in the book.

The man is silent for a moment, then rests his broad, warm palm on Lu Shiqing’s head and gently ruffles his hair. In a deep voice, he says, “Good boy.”

Lu Shiqing used to be an orphan and had never known the warmth of a family.

After finding his father, he gets whatever he asks for. It’s as if the man is trying to make up for all the love he missed during the past nineteen years.

As Lu Shiqing enjoys his father’s affection, he spends every day lecturing the man.

“Love is just dopamine messing with your brain. It’s not reliable at all.”

“Uncle Wang is over forty, and he fell for some young kid. They swindled him out of all his money. What a tragedy.”

“...”

The man smiles, picks Lu Shiqing up and settles him on his lap, then asks softly, “Baby, are you afraid I’ll find you a new mom?”

Lu Shiqing blushes and loops his arms around the man’s neck, acting coy. “Of course not!”

They get along wonderfully, like a loving father and dutiful son.

One day, as Lu Shiqing lies in the man’s arms reading, a familiar voice suddenly breaks in: “Father, I heard you have a son... Lu Shiqing?!”

Lu Shiqing looks up and finds himself face-to-face with the shocked main character top.

The man behind him wraps an arm around Lu Shiqing’s waist and says unhurriedly, “He’s my wife. You’re addressing an elder by his full name. Where are your manners?”

Lu Shiqing: “???”

What is this? Wasn’t I his son? How did I become his wife?

Only then does Lu Shiqing realize that the man isn’t his father at all.

He’s the novel’s ultimate villain, the big shot...

Li Chi.
