Married to a Ghost

Modern Arc: Upcoming Novel, After Being Sacrificed to an Evil Ghost. Still their story, and a sweet little romance! The first book has plenty of flaws, so I recommend reading it chapter by chapter instead of buying the whole thing at once~ -- “When people die, they become ghosts. What happens when ghosts die?” The young master of the Yin family is fated to die before the age of twenty. The only way to break his doom is to accumulate great merit. The pampered young master is forced to give up his comfortable life, take an old Taoist as his master, and follow him to exorcise demons and ghosts. But before his destined calamity arrives, he falls into another one instead-- An evil ghost is at work. It is wicked and powerful, unfathomably deep, and has countless deaths on its hands. The instant the ghost clamps a hand around his neck, Yin Yunheng thinks he is as good as dead. But the next moment, the evil ghost says, “Marry me.” Yin Yunheng: “...Huh?” To kill the evil ghost, Yin Yunheng puts himself on the line and enters into a ghost marriage with him. After the wedding, his ghost husband treats him wonderfully, giving him only the finest food, clothes, and comforts, and never letting him suffer the slightest grievance. It's just that the evil ghost is always forcing himself on him, holding and kissing him day after day. Once again pinned down on the bed against his will, Yin Yunheng thinks furiously that he must kill the evil ghost as soon as possible. The day Yin Yunheng kills the evil ghost is the summer solstice, and also Yin Yunheng's birthday. As the long sword pierces his chest, the evil ghost asks in a daze, “Do you truly not love me?” Yin Yunheng's gaze is indifferent, without the slightest ripple. As his soul scatters, the evil ghost roars unwillingly, “Even if I die, I won't let you go.” * All sorts of strange things suddenly start happening around Yin Yunheng. Whenever he draws near, the ghosts nearby flee in terror, as if something utterly terrifying is following right beside him. Every morning when he wakes, inexplicable red marks appear on his body, as though he has been... Yin Yunheng shudders in alarm and is about to run when he suddenly falls into an icy embrace. The ghost he killed has come back. Yin Yunheng expects the vengeful ghost to take brutal revenge on him. Instead, it holds him tightly and pleads pitifully, “Ah Heng, try loving me, won't you?” [Powerful Vengeful Ghost Gong x Pretty Little Shou] [Reading Notes] ★ The gong is absolutely crazy about the shou, but he's extremely dark and twisted! ★ A mountain of author-created settings, all in service of the plot -- Modern Arc, After Being Sacrificed to an Evil Ghost: Synopsis 1. “Have you heard? The Ghost King is looking for his bride!” Yin Yunheng was born with Yin-Yang Eyes, allowing him to see ghosts and recognize spirits. After finishing his sophomore-year final exams, Yin Yunheng is about to head home when the chattering gossip of two little ghosts suddenly drifts into his ears. He keeps a straight face and quietly pricks up his ears. But before he can hear more, everything suddenly goes black and he faints. When Yin Yunheng wakes up, he discovers that he has been offered to an evil ghost as a sacrifice. He is bound tightly with rope, without even a chance to escape. “Thump, thump, thump...” An eerie sound comes from the dark night, and a cold, slick presence winds its way up Yin Yunheng's calves. Yin Yunheng trembles all over. He raises his pale face and stares into the empty air, tears glistening in his eyes. “Please, don't kill me... I'll do anything for you.” After a pause, he adds in a small, sobbing voice, “Nothing illegal, though.” A soft laugh rings through the room, and the restraints around Yin Yunheng fall away at once. A shadow appears before him. The evil ghost's eyes are deep and dark, and his thin lips curl into a dangerous smile. “You're my bride. How could I bear to kill you?” 2. That ghost never kept his promise. He still wants him dead! Yin Yunheng thinks furiously. “Wifey, come to bed.” The evil ghost's cool voice slips into Yin Yunheng's ears. Yin Yunheng shivers, clutches his blanket, and gathers his courage. “I'm sleeping in the guest room tonight.” The next second, his whole body moves toward the evil ghost against his will. Pinned to the bed, Yin Yunheng is on the verge of tears. See? The evil ghost really does want to *kill* him. QAQ 3. After the Ghost King takes Yin Yunheng away, the tracking spell on him suddenly disappears. The heavenly masters' hearts sink. They had planned to use Yin Yunheng to find the Ghost King's lair, but something has gone wrong. After enormous effort, they finally find the evil ghost's hideout. What they see leaves everyone dumbfounded. The delicate, handsome young man snaps furiously, “Meng Guishen, I hate you!” The tall, handsome man holds him in his arms, kissing and coaxing him. “I was wrong. I shouldn't have ignored Ah Heng last night.” Everyone looks on in disbelief. Is this really the same evil ghost who has slaughtered countless people? Just as they stare at one another in confusion, the sky abruptly changes, and dark clouds gather. A chilling voice pierces the thick fog, ringing clearly in everyone's ears. “How dare you use him as bait? This King will settle the score with you properly!” 4. While the evil ghost is fighting the heavenly masters, Yin Yunheng sneaks out of the ghost mansion. As if! If he doesn't run now, that ghost is going to kill him, okay! The evil ghost doesn't come after him. Yin Yunheng returns to his usual peaceful life, and everything gets back on track. It's just that sometimes he remembers the male ghost pinning him against a glass window... Ahem. After the new semester begins, Yin Yunheng hears that a new roommate will be moving into their dorm. The moment he sees the new roommate, all the color drains from Yin Yunheng's face. In the dead of night, a faint whimper sounds through the pitch-black men's dormitory. A cold hand grips Yin Yunheng's waist. His whole body is enveloped in a chilling presence, and a familiar voice murmurs in his ear, “I've caught you, wifey.” Core theme: Love can withstand anything
