The Honest Man Forced to Marry a Rich Heir's Father

(More later)

Shen Zhou is an honest, decent man from a family of scholars. He’s kind and friendly, and recently he’s made a few rich second-generation friends. His quiet nature and pretty face quickly make him one of their drinking buddies. He’s always ready to show up whenever they call, content to be the quiet nobody on the sidelines, helping keep the mood lively.

One day, the young rich heirs are playing a game. Shen Zhou loses and is forced to dress in women’s clothes and go confess his love to someone.

He works up the courage to approach a tall, handsome man and tell him he likes him. Just as he’s about to explain that it was only a game and apologize, the handsome man grabs his wrist and stares at him with narrowed, dangerous eyes.

Shen Zhou turns and runs. He treats the incident as a little blip, but just a couple of days later, he goes to one of the young heirs’ homes and runs into that handsome man again.

The heir’s friend even calls the man “Dad.”

Faced with the dark, piercing gaze of his rich friend’s father, Shen Zhou trembles with fear.

Shen Zhou: Uncle, that day was really just a game.

Rich Friend’s Dad: Oh? Then shall we make the game real?

Shen Zhou: Huh??

Later, Shen Zhou muddleheadedly agrees to the man’s proposal, muddleheadedly gets married, and muddleheadedly spends his wedding night with him.

It isn’t until the next day, after this honest man has been thoroughly ravished, that he finally comes to his senses. Red-eyed, he accuses the older man of taking advantage of someone young.

The older man grips Shen Zhou by the waist and takes him all over again.

With nowhere left to go, the honest man can only marry into the wealthy family and become his friend’s stepmother.

Friend: I thought you were my bro, but you’re trying to be my mom?

Note: The top and bottom are each other’s only partners. The top’s son was adopted from a collateral branch of the family.
