A Love Letter to the Infinite Boss

(Short story, discontinued)

Gu Huo is a cold beauty, high above the rest!

He has countless admirers, but is cold-hearted and has never fallen for anyone. Then, one day, he enters a horror game with a romance experience card. While the other players flee in terror, Gu Huo is forced to date the boss.

[Temple Escape: The gods must not be profaned. The gods cannot be profaned. Anyone who profanes them will be punished.]

The players proceed cautiously, yet still break the rules and die one after another. When it's Gu Huo's turn, his identity as the Evil God's bride awakens. The Evil God falls in love with him at first sight.

Evil God: "Hey, do you want a husband?"

[Murderous Night at the Villa: Don't let him notice you. When he looks at you, close your eyes and get away. If you fail, pray the scythe falls quickly.]

The players keep getting spotted by the killer without warning and are forced to forfeit their lives. Gu Huo unlocks the role of the killer's fiancée, and the killer instantly catches the scent of romance.

Killer: "Let's get married!"

[The Ghost Castle: The castle's master likes peace and quiet. Don't wake him. If he wakes, you mustn't fall asleep, or you'll sleep forever.]

Countless players die in their sleep, their cold bodies swallowed by the castle. Gu Huo, however, unlocks the skill to kiss the prince awake.

Castle Master: "Can you kiss me awake?"

At first, the game's livestream chat says:

"Damn, what an unlucky guy. The boss is actually flirting with him?"

"He's going to die even worse. Poor thing!"

"What does it mean to be loved by a monster? Literally having your heart and guts ripped out?"

"A lovesick boss couldn't find someone like him even in his next life."

But soon, everything turns around:

"You can do that? How did I not know?"

"We should learn from him. Next time we meet a boss, let's act aloof and refuse them too."

"Uh, I think anyone who tries that might die..."

"Bro, please write a book, teach us, save my miserable life!"

A delightful story about a lovesick boss showing off like a peacock as he pursues his beloved, and the two of them loving and fighting each other.
