Rule-Based Horror, Except the Evil God Fights for Me

Born blind, Ning Xiaoman can only learn the colors of things from other people. To understand their shapes, he has to touch them and then picture them in his mind.

The world he has pieced together this way is full of unknowns, but still within his control.

Protected by his family, he grows up healthy and well. Just when he thinks his life will always remain this peaceful, everything changes: the Rules of Horror descend!

To make matters worse, he is chosen by the Rabbit Kingdom to represent his country and clear the challenges.

Just when he thinks things couldn’t possibly get any worse, reality gives him a merciless slap in the face.

Among all the skills on offer, from death immunity to mind control, he draws the most useless one. And to top it off, he draws a... palm-sized... octopus?

The octopus... no, the evil god Tals, gazes at the human before him, whose soul is pure white, and excitedly wiggles his tentacles. Who could have guessed? He was sleeping peacefully at home when a bride suddenly fell from the sky!

Though things seem a little off, so what? He’s an evil god, after all!

Now all that’s left is to conquer one challenge after another, then carry his bride home!

[Sweet romance, no angst, both leads are devoted to each other. At heart this is a sweet romance, so the Rules of Horror aren’t especially scary. The love interest is an octopus in his true form, and turns human in the middle to later part of the story.]
