Teaching Maids Is Hard

Jiang Shiyin had barely arrived in this world when her father was wrongly imprisoned. They said the culprit was Prince Ping. Her mother told her to save him, so Jiang Shiyin had no choice but to disguise herself as a maid and enter Prince Ping's manor.

The heir, Zhao Yuanqing, pointed to the darkest and ugliest maid in a group of them. "I'll take her."

The girl was clumsy and couldn't do anything right. Zhao Yuanqing treasured her because she was the first maid who didn't try to climb into his bed. He stopped teasing the crickets and rarely went out with his wastrel friends, determined to train Jiang Shiyin into a gentle, obedient, attentive maid.

Prince Ping was gratified. Jiang Shiyin was a lucky star for his manor. Young Master Zhao was smug: of course she turned out so well, he had trained her himself.

One day, Young Master Zhao suddenly wanted the girl to climb into his bed, but no matter how long he hinted, Jiang Shiyin didn't get it. So he dropped the act. "I want to marry you."

Jiang Shiyin: Hah, dream on!

Her father was to be executed after the autumn harvest. She held a dagger to Zhao Yuanqing's neck. "Let my father go!"

Only then did Jiang Shiyin realize that her adoptive father wasn't innocent at all. Her adoptive mother had been using her as a pawn.

A lighthearted, everyday story.
