Thank you for your support!

After transmigrating, Yao Qingxue becomes a cook in wealthy households. But every household she works for goes under: the Ministry of Works vice minister is arrested and his estate confiscated, then the Duke of Anguo's entire clan is wiped out. Different people also start taking an interest in her.

After running into the same man at two consecutive confiscations, Han Ze frowns. "Why is it you again?"

Yao Qingxue thinks, Why should I ask why you follow me everywhere I go?

Han Ze suspects something is going on. Convinced Yao Qingxue is a spy from an enemy nation, he decides to keep her right under his nose. After a mix of threats and persuasion, she becomes his personal cook.

Yao Qingxue asks timidly, "Aren't you afraid the Han family will fall?"

The junior minister of the Court of Judicial Review sneers. "You'd need to be capable of that first."

With Han Ze, who gets irritable when he's hungry, Yao Qingxue has no choice but to keep him sweet. Her life is easier if she takes good care of her master. But Han Ze keeps such a close eye on her that he wants her by his side every moment. Other men bring their beautiful wives and concubines to banquets; he brings his cook.

Yao Qingxue asks shyly, "My lord, do you like me?"

Han Ze: "...You're imagining things. A young lady shouldn't be so shameless."

A cozy everyday romance with a touch of mystery, and a couple who dote on each other.

Upcoming story: Teaching a Maid Is No Easy Task

Afu resolutely enters the Prince of Ping's manor. Her father was framed, and she is determined to find evidence and save him.

Among a group of maids, heir Zhao Yuanqing points to the ugliest, darkest-skinned one. "I'll take her."

The girl is clumsy and can't do anything right. At last, he's found a maid who won't try to climb into his bed, so Zhao Yuanqing cherishes her. He stops teasing the crickets and rarely sees his rowdy friends, determined to train Afu into a gentle, obedient, attentive maid.

The capital's notorious playboy, Young Master Zhao, suddenly turns over a new leaf and applies himself, becoming a model citizen praised even by the emperor.

The Prince of Ping is deeply pleased. Afu is a lucky charm for his manor. Young Master Zhao is pleased with himself, too: it's all thanks to his excellent teaching. But who was really teaching whom?

The ugly little maid grows prettier and more charming every day. For the first time, Young Master Zhao wants a maid to climb into his bed, but foolish Afu doesn't understand his hints no matter how long he drops them. At last, he lays it all out: "Afu, marry me."

Afu: Hah, in your dreams!

Her father is to be executed in the fall. She presses a dagger to Zhao Yuanqing's neck. "Let my father go!"
