A Genji Cub Charges into a Corrupted Honmaru

The girl named Yuan He Xing is the child of two Genji sword blades and a Saniwa. She was doted on from a young age, and only went to the present day to begin her school life when she reached high school.

But what caught her completely off guard wasn't the school bullying or having her parents called in because she failed her final exams, as she had imagined.

Just as she was getting ready to face the challenges of school, the government forced her to take over a corrupted Honmaru!

The government: With great power comes great responsibility! Lady He Xing, you're the only one we can count on!

He Xing: ...Well, since you put it that way, fine.

With Genji blood running through her veins, He Xing naturally has the pride of the Genji.

Taking over a normal Honmaru sounds less interesting. Let's see just how hard this legendary corrupted Honmaru is to manage!

*

He Xing, a first-year student at Rikkai University, seems to have plenty of secrets. She learns everything quickly, has extraordinary athletic ability, and even makes lightning flash from her sword, just as inexplicably as it does in tennis.

Rumor has it that if her golden eyes fall upon you, they'll ensnare your soul, making you lose consciousness and become a puppet under her control.

You should also never approach the new student named He Xing at twilight, because you might not be dealing with a human at all.

All she does is go to school as usual, accidentally fall into a time-space vortex, threaten and scare off a group of girls who wanted to bully her, and occasionally exorcise evil youkai, among other things...

He Xing, who has somehow acquired a whole pile of titles, is unusually perplexed. "...Is this really how other people see me?"

Reader's guide:

1. As a descendant of sword tsukumogami, the female lead possesses a little divinity. She goes to school while serving as a Saniwa. The story focuses on the plot, with romance taking a supporting role. The pairing isn't decided yet, but it's probably not one of the sword warriors. It may be a choice between Yukimura and Nakahara, depending on how the story develops.

2. This is a work in progress, and the full story is expected to exceed 200,000 words. The main settings are Touken Ranbu and The Prince of Tennis, with Demon Slayer and Natsume's Book of Friends as supporting settings. Bungo Stray Dogs may also appear, though its share is undecided. To make sure the story can follow the main plot of The Prince of Tennis, the original timeline has been changed.

3. The female lead is very strong, and the story leans toward wish fulfillment. However, there will be some angst due to the main plot. It won't be pure power fantasy all the way through, and I won't explain further to avoid spoilers. After all, she's a child of the Genji with her golden finger turned all the way up. Her personality combines traits from the Genji brothers and her Saniwa mother.

4. For the story of He Xing's parents, also known as the Genji Saniwa story, please see my other work, The Saniwa Was Swept Away by the Genji Swamp [Touken Ranbu].

5. The cover was commissioned. If everything above sounds fine, then let's go!
