[Detective Conan] Dangerous Party

A strange mechanical voice sounded aboard a cruise ship packed with members of the First Investigation Division.

[Run, run! If you can't trigger the mechanism, you'll all be blown up here!]

[Oh, what should you do? You've triggered something terrible, hahahaha!]

The mechanical voice let out a piercing, malicious laugh.

In a dim corner not far away stood a figure who was both familiar and strange.

Hoshino Hashie stared at that familiar figure.

Are you Scotch, or...

[...]

It doesn't matter anymore.

Whichever identity he has, he's protecting me. Because he's him.

Sobbing, Hoshino Hashie reached out to touch the figure slowly crumbling in front of her. The young man, almost exactly like the one in her memories, smiled at her as always.

[Hiromitsu.]

A note for readers:

1. The heroine was Hiromitsu's girlfriend before he went undercover. A female officer from the First Investigation Division has waited for years x an AI Scotch/Hiromitsu Morofushi who has somehow come back to life (not exactly a resurrection; the story explains, but that's a spoiler).

2. This is a short story, and it has a bad ending!!!!! Though the friend who gave me the idea said that what I wrote seems more like a happy ending than a bad one (?).

3. The general idea came from my friend Hua Ai, who has given me permission to use it.

4. This story is exclusive to Jinjiang. No reposting, please. I was burned before by something that happened in the past.

5. The story is complete, with no bonus chapters. If you like it, feel free to visit my profile~

Theme: After waiting for years, all she wants is to see you once.
