[Hakuoki] Gentle Sunlight

- I once knew nothing of death, and I was never afraid. I feared the sunlight, afraid of the pain it brought me. - I still fear the sunlight, but now I have you. You are my sun. I've begun to fear death, so please, don't leave me, Okita. [Warning: the main story has a bad ending!!!!] (Emphasis!) If I have the time and inspiration, I'll come back and write a happy-ending side story set in the later generation! It's been 20 years. Thank you to everyone who still loves Hakuoki (bows deeply). [I haven't studied Japanese history, so please overlook any historical errors (prostrates). I'll fix what I can, and treat anything I can't fix as a plot hole.] [About the heroine: this is a character concept I came up with in middle school. If you can't keep reading, um... you can criticize me, but please spare my girl quq] [The story is mostly told through memories.] [A short story, so I won't go into every detail of the original plot.] [Written for my faith, Okita Soji. I can't promise a perfectly faithful portrayal; everyone sees him differently, so there may be some OOC moments.] [If all of the above is okay with you, then let's go.] If you're interested, check out my author page. I absolutely love writing fanfiction! Theme: Written for my beloved Soji: You are my sun.
