Mrs. Yukimura's Love Diary

Another story in the same series as the works in my author profile. A longer story, so come join us!

Synopsis:

"Seiichi, that's against the rules..."

"Mm. For you, I'm willing to be banned for life."

Four years apart, four years of longing.

One reunion rekindled every last ember.

Morikawa Aoi never imagined that the sea breeze of Kanagawa when she was fifteen would follow her to the bustling streets of New York.

Back then, he was the "Child of God," reigning supreme in Rikkai University's tennis club, while she was a quiet girl sketching light and shadow in an art studio.

A chance encounter, a long and drawn-out push and pull, and a parting born of youthful recklessness.

When they met again, he was a shining new star on the professional tennis circuit, while she had crossed the ocean with her paintbrushes and old dreams.

The instant they reunited, Yukimura Seiichi caught her by the wrist, dark currents churning in his eyes.

"Aoi, it's just the two of us from here on out."

He's gentle yet dangerous, a gentleman and a hunter.

The kiss in the reception room was filled with four years of unspoken longing. When he pressed her against the door, he chuckled, "Don't worry. I won't do anything."

But the very next second...

"You'd sooner see a sow climb a tree than believe a man's promises!"

She's clear-eyed yet lost in it, both prey and accomplice.

Knowing full well that he was making his moves step by step, she still lifted her face when he kissed her. "Seiichi, you're breaking the rules..."

He bit the tip of her ear and laughed softly. "For you, I'm willing to be banned for life."

From a New York apartment to a church in the Aegean, from youthful first love to a bond for the rest of their lives.

"A masterpiece that takes the world by storm is nothing more than the heartbeat of a single moment, stretched into an eternal echo."

[Reader's Guide]

1. Both leads are each other's first and only. Happy ending. Sweet modern romance. Professional tennis player × oil painting graduate student. Reunion after a long separation, with both saving each other.

2. High-sugar alert: reception-room antics, the school parking lot, a drunken night of seduction... Adult love doesn't beat around the bush.

3. Supporting characters from the original work make cameo appearances, but this is a standalone story. You can enjoy it without having read the original.

Theme: Lovers find their way to each other in the end.
