Too Many Characters Have Turned Evil

The highly anticipated superhero game Dawn's Bell is about to launch, and Shi Xia is one of the first game streamers to get a beta key.

Hoping to cash in on the fresh wave of traffic as quickly as possible, Shi Xia takes a quick look at the character profiles and starts working on team-building guides. He skips every bit of story, determined to be the first streamer on the whole internet to post a guide.

...Then he gets transported into the world of the game, right into the opening CG of the prologue.

Dusk, an alley, bloodstains on the ground, and the upright young man in front of him. Shi Xia recognizes him at once: the poster boy you get for free just by logging in.

The poster boy slowly turns around, his smile warm, and says the one starting line Shi Xia remembers: "Don't be afraid. I'm here to save you."

As expected of a starting character! So dependable and steady!

Thus, misled by the poster boy, it takes Shi Xia a long time to realize that the characters in this game aren't quite what he imagined.

In the game's story, which Shi Xia doesn't know about:

Character One, the poster boy: gentle and kind, righteous and responsible, known as the "Radiant Hero" and the pride of his family.

As the game continues, he learns that he's only a clone and everything he has is fake. From then on, he sets out to overthrow his entire family and the world.

Character Two: a taciturn, gentle big brother, known as the "Master of Flames," a walking humanoid fire dragon.

After accidentally killing his younger siblings because he loses control of his powers, he loses his mind and turns into a half-man, half-dragon, wandering in the darkness and endlessly searching for the family he lost.

Character Three: a sunny, enthusiastic little ray of sunshine and a glutton who can gain other people's abilities by consuming their blood.

After consuming too much blood from other species, his genes will collapse. He'll never be able to eat ordinary food again and will chase after boiling blood forever, until his own blood grows completely cold.

Shi Xia, watching the real story unfold: ...

It's okay. He'll take care of it.

The corruption routes absolutely will not happen!

※ All characters have a platonic relationship. No romantic pairing. The official release may differ.
